That is how to look after fans

Fair enough, I did walk into that one! Whilst your trawling through my history you will note on plenty of occasions I have said that I understand why people went, I just thought they were wrong to do so.

What was the WASPS crowd today

So he only cares because it affects him? That's the point I'm making. Nothing wrong with that of course, but lets cut out all the crap about pretending to care about the fans of other clubs.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Yes I did mean Cov rugby.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Well obviously. When something is on your doorstep you are more likely to take notice of it. That isn't being hypocritical. What is being hypocritical is pretending to care about a group of supporters whom have been playing outside of their home town for the last 13 years, and not even saying...

What was the WASPS crowd today

Where have I mention Sixfields? He seems to be devastated at what has happened to the poor innocent Wasps fans and dear old Cov rugby. He didn't give a shit about what happened to their fans prior to Wasps moving to Coventry. Now that is being hypocritical.

That is how to look after fans

    Eh some of them did.

That is how to look after fans

    Name names.

What was the WASPS crowd today

How am I being hypocritical exactly? Your the one who is now devastated on behalf of Wasps and Cov fans, when a year ago you couldn't give a shit about either.

That is how to look after fans

I think this is a question for the trust to ask. The hall will be empty anyway on matchday, so would acl let ccfc have it for cost price?

That is how to look after fans

If, as you suggest IEC were involved in the Wasps event, then it must make money (compass wouldn't subsidise Wasps). Therefore if ccfc went to IEC and said we will do something similar if we agree to share profits, why would they say no?

What was the WASPS crowd today

Or it proves that I don't want my team playing in Northampton?

That is how to look after fans

And in one post we get summed up exactly why some are against these ideas. Regardless of the benefits to ccfc, this might also help Wasps/acl, so screw the ccfc.

That is how to look after fans

Either way it shows flexibility in the agreements that exist. If it was IEC, why can't ccfc try for a similar deal?

That is how to look after fans

Wasps brought outside caterers into the exhibition hall at their games, compass obviously didn't mind that. The hotel and casino also seem to manage without compass as well.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Well obviously not. I'm a Coventry City fan and didn't want my club playing there.

What was the WASPS crowd today

People are only defending them against other people who have an issue with Wasps despite them causing no harm. Free tickets is a great way to improve your future fanbase, don't you think?

What was the WASPS crowd today

So you admit then that Wasps are doing a good job at winning new fans over? Therefore isn't it right that we should look to them for ideas about improving CCFC attendances?

That is how to look after fans

You hire out the hall, you then charge various companies to bring in the mobile bars and food outlets that were there for the Wasps events. Compass and Wasps would have nothing to do with the selling of F&B's. The money you get in from that would probably cover the hire of the hall itself, so I...

City fans reply to Alan Poole article

I think it does a good job of highlighting the unprofessional stance of Alan Poole on this one. Problem with Poole, Eakin, & Linnell, is they have known Presley for a couple of years now, and they have probably become good friends with him. Therefore, it is an automatic reaction to defend a...

That is how to look after fans

I cant believe that some of our fans are scoffing at the idea of good customer service. I can only think some city fans like being treated like shit.
