    When will Sisu go?

I feel the same. Can't be any worse and with a bit of luck someone who has a genuine feeling for the club and the City.

    When will Sisu go?

Reading comments on here, listening to callers on the radio and to fans at the games, it seems to be an almost universal feeling that Sisu need to go. There are few who think that they have been anything but an unmitigated disaster for our club. Listening to Chris Cattlin the other week was...

    Away day memories

I remember that. Pre-hillsborough and so despite being hemmed in by the police at the front and pushed into the horses by the crowd from behind, you felt everything would be alright in the end because it always was. Scary at the time and events a couple of years later showed that things didn't...

    Highfield Road Memories: Goals

This was my favourite goal too. Sometimes you think is it just yourself who saw that or thought that. Great to read that someone else felt the same. This goal came the year after Pele, Brazil and the great Mexico World Cup of 1970. In one match, Pele had taken a shot from inside his own half and...

    the Great Escape?

City were mostly comfortable throughout. In fact it was Chesterfield who had had the largest slice of luck as their equaliser took a massive deflection.

    Bradford crowd

Went to Sheffield U recently. Similar club to us.While we have floundered and been on a downward spiral for the past few years, they have been promoted to PL , been involved in play offs, regularly finished high in their leagues and been on numerous cup runs taking them to latter stages of the...

    Bradford crowd

Considering what our fans have been through, total lack of success, generally poor football, plus all of the Sisu shenanigans I think it is hardly surprising that many have given up. Put any of the 'big' clubs you mention through our set of circumstances and I think you would see the same...

Carl Baker & Elvis & our midfield generals

I don't think anyone would claim that Carl Baker was a Coventry great. However for two years in this league he has been excellent for us both in creating and in scoring goals. He always tried his best and seemed to have a genuine affinity for the club, unlike a lot of players theses days. I am...

Anyone going to argue with John & alex

Don't agree with John Sillett's assessment of Steven Pressley, however your comment is wide of the mark. Sillett's teams were consistently in the top half of the old First Division table. They also played attractive, attacking football. For me, after Jimmy Hill and Gordon Milne, our best manager.

An open letter to Joy by PSB Group

That's one of the mysteries of Sisu to me. The fact is that they have lost money and continue to lose it by staying. I can't see what they gain. Logic would say cut your losses and go. Sisu seem to operate outside of what to most people seems to be common sense.

    Simply The Best

I agree. Hard working, committed but above all fantastic skill. I can't see us ever having a player as good as Tom again.

Money that has come in over past year. Arsenal gate, Wilson fee, Clarke fee, Christie fee, Sell on fee for Jutkiewicz, season ticket sales of 4500 ish, insurance pay out for stolen shirts? Surely 7 or 8 million coming into the club. Has this all been invested on playing side?

A manager that has a proven record with limited resources

Problem with Pressley's plan is that Sisu won't let it come to fruition. They won't keep good experienced players ( Murphy, Baker) who would like to stay. They will sell at the first opportunity any younger player they receive an offer for (Wilson, Bigi). They have a track record of letting...

    Got, Not Got

It is just about City. Lots of good stuff to jog your memory. I didn't know, for example, that it was only ourselves and Man City that allowed those little blue cars for the disabled around the pitch perimeter. I can remember many occasions when a clearance cannoned into the side of these with...

    Got, Not Got

I received a little book, Got, Not Got, for Christmas. It is a little gem of a book provoking memories of the sixties. seventies and eighties through sky blue eyes. It is a reminder of a time when we were a big club, owned by people who cared and when we had club shops that were stocked and...

    Simply The Best

My favourite team since first watching City in 1967 was the Fergie- Wallace team of the late 70's. We were just fantastic to watch and played the most exciting football I have ever seen us play. In one game that season we played a formation that was virtually 244 with Hagan and Holton as the...

Kcic front bid to buy club

Sisu won't admit this though. This proposal means that they have no where to hide. It is clear that financially they would be far better off if they accept and return to the Ricoh. If they don't accept their lie is exposed as it becomes clear, hopefully even to the FL, that their only agenda is...

Kcic front bid to buy club

I went to most away games last season and at every game either Elliot, Hoffman or both of them were there sitting amongst the City fans. Both Hoffman and Elliot left the board when they saw the way things were going with Sisu. Don't know either of them personally but there commitment to the team...

Kcic front bid to buy club

Sisu did turn down Hoffman's offer, but to my recollection without any good reason. This was also at the start of last season while Fisher was still in fantasy land thinking that 7000 Sky Blues would turn up every other week. Now he knows the reality of the situation. Gates at Sixfields are...
