    All this Doom and Gloom

Yep, we will most probably cling on to league 1 safety and finish in one of our lowest ever positions. Can't imagine why that's creating doom and gloom.

    8,700....really ?

Crowds increased every season between 1994 & 2000.

By fundamentalists do you mean people that hate sisu? Surely we are all fundamentalists in that case as everyone says they hate them.

    8,700....really ?

Last time we mounted a promotion challenge in this division crowds went up by 16k, what is there to suggest that wouldn't happen again?

    8,700....really ?

Population of an area is a very poor way to gauge support. Using that theory Leeds United are one of the worst supported clubs in the country.

    Pressley suing CCFC

There is a difference though between what SP deserves and what he is legally entitled too. I don't think any of us on here would argue that he deserves this money, but if (and I do stress if) that is what his contract says then the club should just pay it. No more messing about in court cases...

    Pressley suing CCFC

Surely its a good thing then? We all want to know the truth don't we? And if the club is in the right then they have nothing to worry about.

    Almost 30 years without success

You made the league 1 play offs as recently as 2007, what you complaining about ;) Such a thing is just a pipe dream to us.

    Possible Solution

The main issue here is whether a new stadium is going to generate sufficient income to repay its build costs, and fund the operating losses of the club. I very much doubt that is possible.

    Possible Solution

The way I look at it is this. Sisu have shown they invest money into areas that they have absolutely no knowledge. £50m lost in CCFC is evidence of that. Now, what evidence is there that Sisu know how to make a return on a football ground? If I had £30m lying around I wouldn't entrust to...

    Fisher on new stadium

Obviously working with sick children etc is a good thing and I am not criticising them for that. But I am talking about making the club part of the city. The club should be a Coventry institution. You shouldn't be able to go anywhere in the city and not see something connected to them. I think...

    Possible Solution

The stadium management company paid a £21m premium to the freehold owner.

    Fisher on new stadium

Get involved in the cities major events. What presence do they have at the Godiva Festival for instance?
  17. bigfatronssba

    Possible Solution

Fair enough, I don't disagree with any of that.

    Possible Solution

Well the stadium management company gets to keep all the income streams apparently, so what income will the stadium owner receive?

    Fisher on new stadium

I want them to show their pride in being COVENTRY City. Why wouldn't you want that?
