More important that Norwich lose, than West Brom.

To be honest, even if we fall short (more likely than not), it would be nice to take it as near to the end of the season as possible. 'Dead rubbers' suck the atmosphere out of the crowd, so it'll be great for us to have a fighting chance. Funny how things can swing from one week to another.

Only lost 4-3 at Ipswich the other week. I'll be happy with any win, but would be nice to do it convincingly.

If we lose tomorrow night, who from here is going to follow this Darmstadt fan's lead? 🤣 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68467893

    Ex Player Watch

I was thinking there are almost certainly bonuses for us, for Sporting winning the league, and for qualifying for the Champions league. In answer to your question, i bet the bookies wouldn't (now) be offering much more than evens for a Sporting win/Gyokeres to score anytime double. At evens...

Should Ohare now be back up for Palmer

Not you, but there have been a few posts along this theme, as if he is playing within himself, prior to a move (and I don't agree!)

Should Ohare now be back up for Palmer

Is this an extension of the 'O'Hare's downed tools' brigade? Joke in my opinion. Both good players, and I've never seen C O'H not try on a football pitch. Agree with @stupot07 comments too.

    Just a thought

And earlier this season, people would have snapped your hands off for where we are now. A lot of revisionism going on. I'm already steeling myself for the manic rantings of a few individuals over the odd misplaced pass against Rotherham.

    Just a thought

I think as a fanbase we need to be a bit careful between now and the end of the season. Careful, as in keep showing our 'love;' of the team/club. I know the forum doesn't always reflect the support in the stadia, but if any collective disappointment of the season fizzling out, C O'H negativity...

I've seen a couple of that's on the .manager comments in your posts lately. Are you angry with MR? Not a dig, just curious.

Didn't give up, so don't get the 'no heart' comment. Impressed with Torp. Simms had a night to forget, and Wright (pen aside) wasn't involved. Need an upgrade on Da Silva too. It'll be next season we are more of a top 6 side - be great if Sheaf is fit asap. PUSB.

More aggressive pressing in the middle and attack early second half.

Totally agree. The back needs to push up and go man to man if we have to. Can't let them 'kill the game' so easily. Far too easy. Be very surprised if he doesn't change things, be it players/shape.

Playing OK, but letting Albion waste a lot of time by not pushing up against them. Just knocking around the back and killing time.

Last season we'd have had Sheaf and Hamer centre midfield - a key area, where we will obviously be weaker this evening. Don't think we can question the team's mentality based on our form over the last few months, I think it's more the case of physicality. Hoping Simms can have a good performance...
