Yeah, I agree. So much emphasis on here about Muslims and migrants and nowhere near enough on the tragedy itself and how the poor families and the surrounding community have been affected and what they must be going through and of course, HOW it happened and why. That's not at all clear yet.

Yup. People know exactly what is meant when they say a remark is racist. Call it what you want, but everyone knows what is meant. Islamophobic, bigoted comment is probably better, but it's still racist.

There's a middle ground. I wouldn't stop speaking English. I would be just learning a second language.

I do think people who come here SHOULD learn English. Just the same as if I went to live in Russia, I would try my very best to learn Russian. I always even try to learn a bit of any language when I go to those places on holiday too.

Each to their own I guess, but we loved Norway when we were there last week and all said we would love to live there. Last thing on my mind in that circumstance would be to look for an English pub or English enclave. I get why people do it, but personally, I find it a little embarrassing.

Think it must be. That's him completely finished then if that's the case. It's another BBC employee, so it doesn't reflect well does it. Depends how much, if any, the Beeb knew about it.

I have found it incredibly sad. If the guy was born in the UK, he's British. As someone has already said, how far back should we go with this? His parents were British, but his grandparents were immigrants, so there lies the problem? Very disappointed in reading some of the posts on here on...

Knife crime is horrendous. How many people have been stabbed to death by non-Muslims/migrants? People are being stabbed to death every day.
