Players play with knocks all the time. Add in fatigue from the last 3.5 matches in 7 days and you risk serious injury; it's not difficult to understand (MR's already said Torp and Sheaf have injuries)

I’m not a greedy man so

Couldn't play us at a better time in terms of 'dropping like flies'. Regardless, we've had a great season, whilst yours has been unbelievable. You need to go up, otherwise next season is likely to be tougher for you in this division imho.

Everything's relative - and it is live on SKY, so hardly a surprise. We'll still hit a 25k average attendance for the season, which is phenomenal.

    24/25 changes?

Tell the truth - does she read your posts?

    Changed my signature again.

Think you'll find it'll be one year (2025) until you're back down. Anyway, congratulations on winning the Championship - joking aside, as a fan base you'll have enjoyed this season more than you will next season (which is the sad reality of the PL/Championship divide)

Would you rather have Ipswich or Leeds in our division next season?

I need to clean my glasses; at first glance I thought you were suggesting playing Dion Kelly-Evans :rolleyes:

Not quite on the Rhian Brewster scale of silly, but a bit on the high side for us; that said, the higher we try to progress, these type of outlays will have to happen, and we won't get every one right (not writing Kitching off yet, though)

It's the hope that gets you

Never thought about it like that, but not a bad viewpoint. The last few seasons have been a joy in terms of positive experiences/memories - don't think any short-term, medium-term or long standing supporters would disagree.

    But apart from that..........

    Kyle Mcfadzean

Not even a mention of it on their forum that I can see - odd

    Championship thread 23/24

I was looking at that Leeds team and thinking that if they lose Summerville, and perhaps Gnonto, they won't pose quite the same threat. It is difficult to know what financial cuts they/Southampton might have to make.

I'm going to Teignmouth at the end of May to play in a walking football tournament (with 3 other Cov ST holders, plus another Cov fan, and I'm staying at my Leicester ST holder mate's house. Initially worried that it may clash with play offs or Wembley final. but that is now a 0.001% chance...

Really don't want Leeds and Southampton in the Championship next season. Looks like at least one of them will be. Ipswich have a fantastic chance of autos now (incredible achievement if so)

Thanks Doug - duly noted ;)

Does the Man Utd game count as a loss? Is O'Hare 'fit'?

OK, fair point (although they kicked off earlier than us :ROFLMAO: )

Agree. When we kick off on Saturday, Blackburn will have had 7 days rest, whilst we will have played 2 games (plus extra time) in the previous 6 days. That is why any expectations need to be tempered with a large dose of reality. Not making excuses for them, but only an idiot would ignore that...

Nor me - bigger picture, though. If we beat QPR and Ipswich for example, great, but will still mean little other than a bit of a pick me up. We all know that it is the summer activity that is now important. I would really like Ipswich to fall short, as I don't think they will be as successful...
