Exactly. If there’s a genuine reason then communicate it.
Right now the decision making on this is looking like one of three things.
Incompetence
Arrogance
Poor communication
I’m confused as to why the club have decided that though. I’ve never once before heard a business say they have too many customers.
Seems like DK needs to have a clear out of the back room staff
That's because the club tried to control where the "singing" areas would be.
But football grounds aren't like that. They're organic, they have to evolve their own atmosphere
The club needs to be pressured into acknowledging that this isn't acceptable.
Never again should there be vast numbers of empty seats when the demand exists to fill them
It wouldn't make sense to sell block 5 but not 13. Block 5 is closer to the away fans than 13.
I think they are doing it gradually to try and add to the excitement
Thats the website with the error. If you go into our results on there it shows the Blackpool game with the wrong crowd
Coventry City - Blackpool FC 1:2 (Championship 2022/2023, 18. Round)
From here Sky Bet Championship | Average Attendances | Home Matches | Football Web Pages
One of the websites out there has the Blackpool game incorrectly recorded as 8k crowd, so its reducing the average
Surely that helps?
If the reason for not selling them is concerns about trouble, then a load of families next to the away fans aren't going to cause a problem
Its the disorganised nature of it that I find most disappointing.
The fact that they're only now looking to see if they can open up more blocks is a joke. Why wasn't this looked into last week?
One to look out for is Swansea.
In mid March they were 15 points off the play offs. In just a month they have reduced that to 3 pts. That's some achievement
