    TODAY !

I feel a bit like that. In 70 years time will people look back and say "well it was only the FA Cup". Changes are devaluing history. Just listening to 5 Live where someone complained that Bournemouth had made 11 changes for their cup tie and was suggesting they be docked points for devaluing...

Wasn't me! Apparently 1/6 of the population of Coventry is Irish or of Irish descent.

    TODAY !

1987 was a great year for me as my first son was born in February of that year, hence I missed Man Utd away! After the semi final loads of cars in Coventry were going around with sky blue ribbons tied to their aerials. Surprisingly there were quite a few in Brum as well. A lot of car horn...

    TODAY !

I was living in Yardley in Birmingham at the time of the cup run. I was ( still am) a teacher in a Catholic Primary school. Our head teacher at the time was A nun who lived in an order near the school. She knew I was going to the final and asked me if I had a picture of the City team that I...

Both Sheffield and Stoke were " very tight " on the terraces. When the gates opened at the end of the Stoke game there was also a line of police on horses on the adjacent roadway who were not letting any one through. I remember being pushed towards the huge horses by the crush behind. Two years...

ON THIS DAY: Friday 6th January 1950 - Willie Carr was born in Glasgow.

Loved Neil Martin, great header of the ball and skilful too for a big man. Disagree about Stein. I thought he was excellent for a couple of seasons. However when he went back to Rangers he didn't last long. McDonald my favourite ever left back, ahead of Stuart Pierce even.

    Name this player..........

Didn't he injure himself closing his up and over garage door? I think this was the injury that forced his retirement. He came from Millwall with a great reputation but didn't perform here. I saw him play for us at Arsenal in a game we lost 5-0 and he was terrible. I much preferred Jim Blyth.

    Pete from Stivicale yet again

Comments not aimed at you, but there are some who vent there anger on protests and protesters and yet say little about Sisu. As far as I could tell whistle blowers at the Bolton match seemed more random people, certainly not part of an organised protest. However I did think the whistles at the...

    Pete from Stivicale yet again

I despair when I read some of the comments on here. Thankfully what I hear at home games and particularly away games from our dwindling fan base are not the views of a few on here. On here there was an eruption of fury due to the loss of points "definitely caused" by a whistle blower and a...

Don't think either of them command the respect that JH did.

    Pete from Stivicale yet again

Having lived through the Jimmy Hill era, heard the things he said and seen the way he operated, I think he would have approved of the passion that some fans are showing in trying to save their (his) club from a duplicitous organisation that has no feeling for CCFC and have in fact used it as a...

Didn't Martinez score at Barnsley and then run into the stand to celebrate?

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

If you buy a ticket you are paying the bills. As I see it, it is only the fans putting money in. Sisu have their own NOPM policy.

    Another protest?

I would sooner just watch the game. However while those people are still here I would want them to hear how the fans feel about them. As mentioned before, I think the anti Sisu chants add to the atmosphere.

    Another protest?

If a player turns us down because he sees fans who are passionate about their club, perhaps he is not the sort of player we should be signing. Slade said after the Charlton match that he was fine about the protest, that he understood fans had the right to protest. I think real football people...

    Another protest?

Would agree with the pressure on TF. It would depend how effective protests before, after or at half time could be.
