It was a very freaky goal, because it shouldn't have been a free kick in the first place, then the delivery from the free kick was actually very poor and then the ball bounced off Simms' shins. We had lots of chances to clear it though.

Rudoni was much quieter in the second half and did fade somewhat, but he was excellent in that first half and running the show.

I do think it's mad that anyone can score both Eccles and Torp, 5, in a game we totally dominated and played very, very well in. If both your midfield duo have put in sub par performances, it would be impossible to put in anything like that level of team performance and have us play that well...

Yeah and if you watch the video back, you can see Eccles by the sidelines, clutching his face, in some kind of sympathy pain.

Yeah, I think pretty much everyone was a 7. Torp did some excellent stuff. Maybe Simms with a 6.5, but otherwise, everyone else, a 7 or higher. MVE was superb..

That's much more sensible a scoring I think.

Yup. Exciting game. We created loads, played very well, scored three goals and won. Besides all that, everything else was crap.
