I too received a letter from CA this morning (together with a car sticker), probably because I haven't yet committed to a ST for next season and the timing is just before this Sunday's deadline for existing ST holders.

Agree with this. If there is any truth in what the OP says, perhaps TM is playing the bluff card and that any job offer from Rotherham would then be used as leverage to negotiate additional resources at CCFC?

Unlike some of his predecessors who were perhaps desperate for a job, I suspect TM accepted the job on his terms alone and was therefore very much in the driving seat during negotiations.
