Good point today, another week together on the training ground and 3pts against Oldham.

    Gary Hoffman

Surely if you were a genuine fan, you would use 'we' instead of 'they' and 'our' instead of 'their'? Basic error methinks.

Questions over Coventry City's future met with wall of silence

For me, just one key question missing from those directed at Wasps - do you have any intention of owning CCFC? Not that this would be answered either.

    Mowbray and the Acadamy

    Whoops,my bad...thought they were still Cat 3.

Well TM's wish for a full week on the training pitch will have happened.......so no pressure! Backs to the wall time so 0-0 or maybe a cheeky 0-1?

    Saturday's game - biggest ever.

Also remember the return game around Christmas time, treated my Dad to a hospitality package in the Main Stand to celebrate his 70th birthday. Stockport bottom of the table, easy 3 pts and plenty of goals we thought. Probably picked the worst game that season and lucky to get a 0-0.

    Mowbray and the Acadamy

Maybe have a look at Watford too. Been operating at Cat 3 for the last three years and are now applying to move to Cat 2.

    Mowbray and the Acadamy

If we believe everything we have heard about the scouting network at CCFC - from the shambles it was under Pressley and the excel spreadsheet departing with him, to the total overhaul conducted by TM and MV - could its' successful and continuing development offset the need for a Category 2...

How man at managers have thrived under SISU

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Something changed after that match and we were never the same again, certainly on the pitch.

How man at managers have thrived under SISU

Failed managers at CCFC can be traced back long before Sisu arrived here. With the possible exception of Strachan who was funded by Uncle Bryan's money tree at the bottom of the garden, Black who wasnt given long enough and Robins who jumped ship. TM isn't a failure yet and gives me more...

    Fair shout or balderdash ?

Sisu Simon? If anything, he is the exact opposite. Just shows how mentally unstable some of their correspondents must be.

    Fair shout or balderdash ?

Without a doubt Nick, but in so doing he is part of the problem and not a solution to it.

    Fair shout or balderdash ?

And Nemo/Derek Henderson ☺ The trouble is when the CT have at least 4 sports reporters commenting on the football side of CCFC, their Chief Reporter or whatever he is keeps sticking his oar in. My, how times have changed.

    Fair shout or balderdash ?

Don't know the CT agenda Stu but I'm certain Mr Gilbert's agenda isn't driven by concern for our poor start to the season or generally for any interest in CCFC in a football sense.

    Low water mark

Maybe a more telling question Nick is how many of them were successful before they came to us? Off the top of my head, Reid promoted in Championship with Sunderland, Dowie promoted in Championship with Palace and TM promoted in Championship with West Brom. What is it at Cov that brings the kiss...

    I'm gonna start this off...

I think it's more than lack of budget and an inability to compromise. The quotation from Wenger is very telling and I would be interested in knowing when it was said. If it was 20 years ago, then he was been proved absolutely correct. Why is it that none of our Managers, most of them with...

    TM contract renewal

I don't get the fixation with budget size and the implication that it is the sole indicator of success or otherwise. Should the teams with the 4 smallest budgets just give up in August? Did Leicester have the biggest budget in Premier League last season?

    Another Reid biased view

Tampon Tim - around for a week or so then disappears for the next 3.

All Quiet on the Transfer Front

I can understand resetting after a couple of months or maybe at Christmas but not really after 4 games. Are Sheff Utd fans thinking of relegation already? Or Barnsley last season? Still way too early for me.
