The Rebuild- Around Hamer and Sheaf

Do we have a list of who is out of contract? I do think this team has taken us as far as we can. Much like in 2019, we need a new team to take us to the next level

    Feeling Sick & Downright Depressed

Don’t be too harsh. Lots of people, myself included try to smile in such circumstances. It’s a defence mechanism

The morning after the night that wasnt to be.

Yep. Vik leaving will be no different to McNulty leaving. Robins will find a replacement

    Feeling Sick & Downright Depressed

Agree with the sentiment apart from the phrase “pick us up off the floor”. We’re in the best shape we’ve been for over 25 years. The club is still going in the right direction. We’re continually improving, we just need to keep doing what we’re doing. I know it hurts, but we were one kick...

    Reasons to be positive

Hopefully history will repeat itself. In the 1965-66 season we missed out on promotion to division 1 by the narrowest of margins (just one point). The following season we won the title.

    Reasons to be positive

I never want to see us in the playoffs ever again. I’ll take the boredom of 2nd place every time

The morning after the night that wasnt to be.

Still hurts this morning. Agree the club need to get busy in the transfer market as soon as the window opens. Cash in on Vik, I’d like to keep Hamer but if he has to go then so be it. Every penny needs to be put back in the squad. Try and sign McNally. Try and get Doyle on loan again next...

    When it all calms down.

I get why you feel like that. But for the long term future of the club getting so close will help us

    Be proud of them anyway

We go again next season. Cash in on Vik & Hamer. Trust Robins to find decent replacements, just like he always has. The remaining players have learned a valuable lesson. Next year we won’t have all the crap of bad pitches etc. We will come flying out of the blocks in August.
