There are way more reasons we lost than that. Part it being they played a low block and we just passed it around in their half while creating nothing. Which has been a feature for us all season. We still don't seem to have worked out we need to try something different in those circumstances.

Indeed. It's like picking a winger based primarily on his ability to help out the full back. Sure, it's something you'd like them to do, and if possible be good at, but if they can't run with a ball, cross or shoot then it's pointless.

Of course everyone can miscontrol a football. But with Simms he fails to do it so often it seems more than that. His attempts to cushion a ball are laughable.

I feel that Simms is following the gameplan but I'm pretty sure the training doesn't include controlling a ball so it goes 30ft and you lose possession.
