Match Thread Wycombe v Coventry Match Thread - Wednesday 9th Nov

It's a draw: The round of 32 pairings are determined by means of a draw whereby the winner of a group will be drawn at home and will play a runner up of a group from the same region (but not from the same group). They also said on the radio that we could play Reading.

    What would it take?

Have you seen how much Championship clubs are spending? Villa spent over £20m on their new strike force alone. £4m would do nothing.

Playing SISU at their own game

Players that would command a fee: Stevenson Willis Jones Harries Turnbull RCC Sordell (if he can keep up his scoring form) Realistically we need one good sale a year or Wilson to have a good season and get sold onto for a big fee.

Playing SISU at their own game

The DD payment scheme was done through a finance company and works like a loan. I would imagine that the club may already have the money, anyone stopping would be chased by the finance company and ruin their credit rating. Not a good idea.

He turned down a contract offer at Oldham in the summer after playing for them last season. Obviously thought he could do better but no one wants him.

Cian Harries - A Masterpiece In Terrible Defending

Ben Turner used to make mistakes and get a lot of abuse when he first played but I'm sure anyone would have him back now. Young players make mistakes, Stones went for £50m in the summer and looked an awful defender at times last season. Harries is a good player and can defend, he showed that in...

    Worrying Comments from Mowbray

The point is that Norwich don't just have 11 players then reserves, they have a very strong squad - we weren't playing against a youth team. They also sent a much weaker team to play Peterborough on Tuesday and won 6-1 there against a team who have had a much better start to the season than us.

What about Canos who scored twice and cost them 2.5m?

A team for half a season - then what?

We can extend the loans in January or sign new loan players if they all go back.

From an u23 match report against Fulham that he scored in last week: "Wright was a constant menace to the Fulham defence in a tireless display full of devastating power and pace as well as intelligence and graft."
