    Sunderland crowd..

This was remaining ticket sales a week before the Boro game. Near identical to where we are now

And we hadn’t at this stage before the Boro game either. We have opened up the rest of block 25

Ticket sales are near identical to the Boro game so far

I think we all agree that such high prices for kids isn’t fair. I guess a balance needs to be had with maximising income and fair prices

    Sunderland crowd..

But is it having a negative impact? I mean that in the broadest sense. If we said kids tickets were only £15, how many more would we sell?

Also when you factor in corporate its nowhere near 11000. If you think maximum it could ever be with segregation is about 31.5k. Corporate takes up 3k, away fans 2k. You're already down to 26.5k non corporate home tickets. Middlesbrough game had around 21k non corporate home tickets sold, so...

The fact we have a lot of season ticket holders is why prices are so high. I don't like charging kids £25 either. But you have to ask, what is the aim? Is it to fill the ground? Or is it to maximise income? The ground is full enough now for there to be a decent atmosphere. So getting bums on...

We sold 22.5k for the Boro game and on course to sell the same again for Sunderland. When was the last time we had that many home fans two games in a row for regular league games?

    Sunderland crowd..

For as long as its not having a material impact on home sales, it will continue. The alternative would be charging away fans less than home fans, which would obviously be outrageous

For comparison this was the amount sold for Boro a week before the game

    Sunderland crowd..

It will be another 24k crowd. Ticket sales are comparable to the Boro game Block 27 will have to be opened up probably tomorrow, as there isn't much left behind the goal. Boro only brought 1700, if Sunderland are already on 1400, they'll at least match Boro

    Improving year on year

Actually just looked, and we have ourselves. Between 1962 -1970 we improved every year
  13. bigfatronssba

    Perspective

If you assume Leicester are this years Burnley, we’ve matched last years results so far.

Doesn’t look like Brentford have done it
  15. bigfatronssba

    Perspective

I don’t understand what people are complaining about. Fixtures wise we’ve been handed a horrible start, yet we’ve held our own

    Bournemouth under Howe?

    Overson

Do you have proof of that?

Sing your hearts out for the lads

At least it would be a reason. Instead of treating us like idiots and claiming pretending that it’s never been open. Or that the safety of the whole stadium becomes compromised because one of the smallest blocks in the ground is occupied

    Wow

Not as much as we did. They have a certain expectation
