That's true and I do agree we need to bolster the first team options, but how realistic is it that he's going to play other then 5-10 mins of the bench. Sheaf plays 35 games a season and this lad isn't good enough yet to force his way past him. Just thinking that we pick him up early for a bit...

If we think it's the long term successor to Sheaf, would we be willing to sign him and loan him straight out to a lower championship side, get him some much needed experience at this level without being a liability for our promotion aspirations.

Lee Buchanan? I don't ever recall watching him and thinking he's a good player, but he gets rave reviews from the Blues fans at work. Sanderson blows hot and cold at times, but he looks better than what we have when he's on it.
