because he was a fan favourite as a player, but the goodwill only lasts so long.

Not sure if that was posted after I'd had a gander. I definitely saw an Oxford fan post (where, who knows :ROFLMAO: ) that a Cov mate had told him we had bought some in the home area. Anyway, who cares. except that it's a sh*t if some have been kicked out in advance as a result of a forum post.

I went on their forum ( not posting) and one of their posters referred to 'a Cov mate' who had told him some of our fans had purchased tickets in the home end. Don't recall reading a City fan on there, spouting about it.

Watford 7/4 to win at Stoke on Saturday - just saying!

The problem is how you persuade decent players to go there at the moment. I know money talks.but FFP will stop them forking out loads, and they won't recoup much from from a very low value squad. Nearly any other championship club would look more appealing to a player.

Preston are playing Burnley, so won't mind if they kick chunks out of them, before we play them.

To be fair to Hamer, he was obviously carrying an injury last night (otherwise he'd have been in the starting line up) I hope they keep playing him and he's a knacker by the time we play them later in the season, be that league or play offs, as, regardless of the mockery, he has carried them all...

Want Burnley to go up in 2nd. Sheff Utd are beatable, as are Sunderland. Weirdly, it's the Baggies I want to avoid, as I rarely feel confident against them.

Doughty is a good player, but he has a Charlie Adam's type gut (looks overweight to me, for a professional footballer)

Haven't you learned your lesson after stalking Raducanu? 🤔

Hamer oozes class, and dictates a game, or will produce a bit of magic. Vik is a machine/assassin - a bit like the Terminator

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

Fans need to be up for this and get behind the team. Looking at the table last night made me realise how important that win against Bristol City was. If we'd have lost that, they'd have been 8 points clear of us going into today, rather than 2. Nice win today, and we're ahead of them. So tight...

Their fans are always friendly too - probably because they've usually beaten us! They also seem to have an older age demographic than a lot of clubs. Nothing I can prove, but when I've wandered back to the coaches, there seem to be a lot of old timers ambling back home (including me!))

Ouch - that's a double whammy then - that will really disadvantage them.
