Well, as I'm going to Derby for the first away game, I hope you're right (especially as we didn't turn up at their place last season, plus got outsung by their annoying fans)

I've read somewhere that Derby are getting Owen Beck on loan from Liverpool (Blackburn last season) Young left back with promise. Derby have had quite an influx of players, Carlton Morris, Brittain, Danny Batth, Weimann and that American striker, Agyemang.

To be honest, Wingy, I wasn't referring back to the disaster, but fast forwarding to now, when the last few season's experiences have been grim in terms of feeling like sardines in a concourse behind a creaking stadium. Not pleasant, and still borderline dangerous.

If we fielded this side starting a Championship game, we'd be open mouthed at the line up. We're facing Monaco, so it's all about getting match fit. Good if players are under pressure imo. Gives them a wake up call.

So long as we don't pick up any injuries, it's always good to play decent opposition, rather than Nuneaton, Crawley, Forest Green etc. Makes players realise what they should be aspiring to.
