    Millwall COVID?

Reports today stating that Millwall have a number of people connected to the first team squad have tested positive. Their next two games v Bournemouth & Watford are off ..... our game down there is the next one after that. I hope it’s on, as they could be rusty from not playing games

Blimey - he's in the market for a new house and car then. Good luck to the lad

I'm cautious about this game. I'm wondering if the players will react to the news being circulated about their play situation? As for our team for the weekend.....I'm guessing that until 60 minutes Wilson Osti McFadz Hyam Dabo Shipley Sheaf McCallum O'Hare Allen Biamou 61 minute + Wilson Osti...

    Sheaf

Whilst he has got caught in possession on occasions, I thought that last night he provided a lot of cover for our back three - especially in the air

Pulls teams tend to have eleven players over 6 foot tall. Therefore, we need to be ready for a physical aerial bombardment

I said it would be a surprise 😉

This is a problem without our two best CM players. We may have to play long with two up front. However, I‘m very worried about who will play alongside Sheaf. Could MR use Allen or could he surprise us with Pask or Decosta?

    Stands shut at St Andrews

I don’t think insurance will cover this, as it’ll be a maintenance issue and from my experience of StA there doesn’t seem to be much evidence that BCFC have done any maintenance in recent years

    The New Charlton Owner

As soon as he realised we were the home of two tone......there was no way that deal would go through.

In respect to Rose, he was not fully fit when he first played this season. We need to wait until he's fully fit and played a run of games before making an assessment of his ability to compete at this level.

How long can we keep Hamer?

Another consideration in January is that buying in players from Europe will be far more difficult. Added to which we can expect the fees for UK developed players to be inflated. The benefits of trading Hamer seem diminished

    Match Thread Huddersfield

Im worried that we are without Kelly for this game and expect Huddersfield to be up for this one after their hammering this weekend. If we score first that could dent their reaction to Saturday. Play Max & Tyler up front with O’Hare behind them

How long can we keep Hamer?

There’s no way we will sell Hamer in January, as he’s central to us staying in this league. That’s worth over £7m. Added to that Kelly could be out for 3-6 weeks and our games during February look tough. It’ll be false economy to sell up in January. Additionally, what message does that give to...

    Max v Baka

I seem to recollect that Regis didn't score loads of goals for us, but when he played the other team mates tended to score more often. I await the statistical gurus to prove me wrong....as I said it's a recollection. Perhaps Biamou adds more than just goals

Great result the interchange play between Biamou & Walker was excellent. we were much quicker around the pitch that Rotherham and pressure them well.

    Match Thread Rotherham

Given Rotherham’s strength in the air, I feel Ostigard has to start as part of a back 3. Whoever is up front (1 or 2 players) must hold the out ball up well, so we have time to bring our wing backs into play. That’s key to a positive result IMO
