Fisher On CWR after 8 This Morning

This just adds to my feeling that SISU are somehow making money out of the club by some means other than the footballing side. Even the most inept owners would surely realise that they need to try and keep the fans at least a little bit onside if they are to go ahead with ground sharing and then...

    ACL statement

The Council are just as responsible for this mess as SISU.

Fisher On CWR after 8 This Morning

There must be a way in which they are generating cash from the club, there has to be because otherwise it makes no sense. Hedge funds are about investing in a promising business, developing it and selling on for a profit, all in the relative short term. Owning a football club makes no sense for...

Fisher On CWR after 8 This Morning

How can SISU not see that coming out with statements like this only further alienates the fans? If they truly are in it for the long haul as they claim why are they not trying to build bridges?

Come on - email the football league !

Done. 10 characters worth of done.

For God's sake -- put the supporters first !

Have emailed the league and the FA this morning. Have also written to my MP, not that he will do anything and as I don't live in Coventry it's not really anything to do with him either but I like to keep him busy.

    Kits and sponsorship

I agree. I expect it will likely be one of Puma's generic kits, albeit in Sky blue

SISU may still be the best option!

Obviously, I am aware of the other bids and I believe the Chinese bid is potentially very exciting but that wasnt the premise of this thread, I was just throwing out a scenario for discussion. A scenario which could well still come to pass, despite the other interested parties

    Kits and sponsorship

Presumably Puma hold all the old designs though and could just produce some more

    Kits and sponsorship

Is there anything to stop them recycling last years kit (minus the citylink logo) for the new season?

SISU may still be the best option!

Here's a question for you, if a deal could be reached that meant SISU remained in control but that the debts were cleared, we stayed at the Ricoh and had access to the income streams from the stadium would you accept that? For me it's a tough one, they have shown themselves to be poor owners...

    This Chinese Bid

Talking about Administration on CWR now

I think thats the crux of it right there. SISU are a relatively small hedge fund that looks to make a short term investment for a quick return. They were the wrong kind of operation to ever get involved with a football club. They didn't understand what they were getting in to or what it takes to...

    This Chinese Bid

Purely conjecture on my part but Michael Byng has strong connections with Chinese Telecoms giant Huawei and they employ a substantial amount of people within the UK already and are looking to expand further - possibly even opening a new R&D centre here. They are set to become the next big name...

    Michael byng midlands today interview

He may have been alluding to the coaching staff of course................ it's them I feel sorry for really, players will always get another club and are paid well for their services but poor old Oggy has had to put up with the various showers of shite that have controlled the club for a long...

    second bid for city

If a major corporation came in offering to invest in the Citys infrastructure and create new jobs in Cov but ownership of the Ricoh was required in exchange the council would sell it in a heartbeat, or at the very least come to some sort of long term lease agreement. Not getting too excited...

If it was PHIV proposing a new stadium...

I see where you are going with it but surely the council would impose conditions on the sale

    F.A.O The Trust

You have proven nothing, all it shows is where the league believe the golden share lies, a fact which holdings dispute and is at the centre of our current predicament. I don't give two hoots about the trust or what they have or haven't done, all that matters now is what the administrator...

If it was PHIV proposing a new stadium...

I think that would largely depend on the deal that could, or could not as the case may be, agreed with ACL. If they were willing to bring the rent down to a sensible level and share the revenues with the club then I would want the club to stay put. If they could not offer that and Haskell...

Definitive proof that the club is owned by ccfc ltd

Ermmmm wheres the news here? You emailed the league and got their standard response back? We all know that the share was in ltd originally, that has no bearing on where the share is now. If it was that simple the administrator would have finished his work weeks ago wouldn't he.
