Let’s just face it, the reason for them still being in the background is because until DK pays them a significant sum of money, we are in theory still owned by SISU. The stalemate on Vik’s transfer is down to DK needing more so he can pay them off.

We have never been strong in the transfer market (selling) but what I will say is that Chris Wood went to Newcastle not long back for £25m!!!! We could fetch £30m but it does depend on our board standing up to these clubs.

Vik will be gone 100%!!! I would imagine that the newly established scouting team will have already given a list to MR on potential realistic replacements and maybe 1 or 2 future prospects that the club can develop. Will be interesting to see what DK gives in terms of funds to the transfer...

I agree on both points. We must face it Vik will go, and there is nothing MR or anyone can try to do, his focus will be to get a big money move… (unless the unthinkable). £20m is too low, I am sure we could get more if we are brave…

Well that works 2 ways! Out of contract and he doesn’t get the approx £20m price tag, of which he is entitled to 10-15% of this. Or he gets bigger wages per week due to no signing fee, so should he get let’s say £10k more a week (1/2m more per year), which is the better ???

His agent will work day and night to ensure this won’t be the case.

Could not agree more 👍🏻, he will move for his benefit and future. As much as we would love to hold onto him, he will go and then it is up to DK how much he then gives MR to invest. £20m & add ons will be an incredible pay day for us.
