The key of the club will be in the detail of his contract [if he's signed]. We need numerous exit clauses inserted that allows the club to cancel the contract with no or little financial penalties. It'll be great if Bright has evolved into a more professional person, but I have my doubts...

I agree. Derby have to resubmit their accounts, I assume the EFL will be scrutinise them with the view of finding evidence to punish them. This case covers up to 2018. It’ll be interesting to see the 2019 accounts with Rooney’s wages included

That's a likely scenario, as until the players return the clubs been using the furlough scheme to subsidies players wages. Secondly, I would expect contracts to have been signed, but with a scheduled start date of 1st July 2021. It might be a case that the marketing and PR staff are furloughed...
