Its not unusual for a player to come back from a (reasonably) long term injury to get the odd niggle. His injury cant be that bad if he had a fitness test yesterday, so I'd imagine its a case of not risking him with the international break just around the corner.

I agree, but its the common sense bit that worries me, im not sure the football league can be relied on to implement common sense. I do think they should be decisive though, and awarding the game to the opposition should be just the start, maybe a further points deduction or a severe fine...

I hope the game finishes without off the field incident. I dont think Wednesday will get much sympathy if they get a game abandoned. Protesting is fine, (we should now) but getting a game abandoned is a step too far IMHO.

As long as one of them makes it we will be ok. Grimes will be fit so Allen can step in, or even BTA could play as a 10 and EMC could come back in on the left wing. Plenty of options.

He is one of the best players in the championship, however he played Saturday and Tuesday, so at his age hes got to be feeling the pace a bit now, and a heavy pitch won't do him any favours.
