    Transfer Shouts

Ha ha, not intended to be. The potential upside is massive but some concerns is all. Might be better options.

    Transfer Shouts

Unconvinced mate tbh... I know he's had problems with injuries but thought he'd have got a few more minutes at least. He's a very talented boy but I do have a few concerns re: physicality & temperament. Wouldn't be against it as there is huge potential there but would need to ensure we've done...

    Pre Season 22/23

How dare he... Get him gone.

    Transfer Shouts

He's been a regular wing-back for years and (although it's a very flawed metric) he had the most assists of anyone in that position the previous season so gets into good attacking positions & has excellent delivery. This notion that he can't play the role is daft.

    Championship 22-23

That would be the only question mark for me, he could walk into any team in the league imo. Kompany has previously been a pretty rigid 4-4-2 man which wouldn't suit him at all. Think he needs to adapt to get the best out of players like McNeil anyway though so think he'll be pragmatic.

    Derby points deduction

More very smart recruitment by Palace, they've done a great job of signing top EFL talent last couple of seasons.

    Championship 22-23

I can't see he'll have any problems, very gifted player.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The same Tory donor who paid for his flat refurb. The fact that said same donor's companies have won £120 million worth of government contracts is pure coincidence I'm sure.

    Hamer bids

I don't think that's what he's saying, he means spend a similar fee as the one it took to sign Hamer, e.g. £1m+, accepting a large portion will be swallowed up elsewhere.

    Hamer bids

As you say, inevitable & provided we get a decent fee it's a good deal for all parties.

    Gyökeres Bids

He'll never admit it but I bet MR would quite like to move Hamer on sooner rather than later.

    Gyökeres Bids

Yes, given that it was Boro then too & they ended up giving Assombalonga away for free I'm pretty sure they won't be risking similar again! Think Rhodes was about £8m a decade ago. Largest Championship to Championship deal in last few seasons was Harry Arter from Bournemouth to Forest for...

    Gyökeres Bids

Yes, sorry - not brilliantly worded. I meant a team that should qualify & hope to even compete to win Champions Leagues.

    Gyökeres Bids

It's happened once ever & that was 5 years ago to a relegated club with parachute payments. Fees are going down in the Championship not up.
  16. Frostie

    Gyökeres Bids

The difference being, one is wanted by a Top 6 PL side with ambitions of Champions League whilst the others strongest suitor is a mid-table Championship side. No Championship club is paying another Championship club the sort of fees quoted for Gyökeres or anyone else. This is why I think we'll...

    Championship 22-23

Whose to say it has? With the addition of Palmer we aren't going to go for Flemming as well & his price tag is pretty hefty. Wouldn't be surprised to see a move for George Cox though...

    CJ Egan-Riley

Sounds like Burnley might have done a deal to take him permanently rather than just a loan.
