Agree - added to which we have a lot of players coming to the end of their current contracts next summer. Potentially, we will have a very high turn over of players, which will provide both opportunities and risks. Lets hope our recruitment team are going to perform exceptionally well.

Given the current world economic situation. Do SISU need to realise some assets for their investors? If so, that might be a reason why they are not able to provide a short term loan [albeit at 17% interest]. Secondly, the Wasps Holdings situation looks more perilous with each day that has...

    Godden - Huddersfield

The way Wasps Holdings are performing financially, I agree that CCFC's chances of recouping the pitch repair costs against offset rent payments seems "hopeful" at best. At this rate CCFC will be a creditor in the administrative process that Wasps Holdings enters.

If SISU's aim is to sell at the top of the business cycle. Then they're going about it in a rather st If the club sell it's best players.....the adage of selling at the top of the business cycle is going to disappear pretty quickly. Especially if we look like relegation candidates....any...

To sell Golden at this point would be ridiculous, but given the way the Hyam transfer was handled seems worryingly plausible.

    Robins to Bournemouth?

My bet would be Sean Dyche

    Transfer Rumour Ryan Bennett

Get him straight into the starting line up v PNE. He could give that dirty bunch a bit of payback for kick O’Hare off the pitch last season

    Losing habit

I just hope we don't "donate" Preston a goal. It'll be hard to break down their defence and we will have to endure their dirty tactics and time wasting.....remember how they kicked O'Hare out of the game last season. We need a strong referee......for a change!

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

I worry now for our season. The sale looks desperate to pay this months running costs. I expect the club thought that 4 home matches in August would have covered those costs. However, I expect another player to be sold to cover the ongoing costs for the season including instalments for Hamer...

    Transfer Shouts

This news makes me wonder why I ever bother getting excited about a new season. I feel depressed before I've seen us play a home game

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

We did last season with Hyam, Fadz, Rose & C-S......which did cause us a problem with Dabo sometimes playing Right side CH

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

I would be disappointed to see Hyam sold, but if the club is financially in difficulties then we may be forced to sell. If we need money now, then the scheduling of payments is really important, so 50% upfront is probably what we might seek for a slightly lower overall fee.

    Wasps downward spiral...

My understanding is that it's 75% of value of the bondholders, so the large investors will sway any decision. The assessment they have to make is whether to hope that the financial performance of Wasps Holdings improves significantly.....which from previous submitted audited accounts there is...

    CBS issues

Another issue that arises from the postponements of games during August is the additional costs associated with the rearranged fixtures to mid-week or during the autumn/winter time. The energy costs of having to use floodlights will be significant. I hope the club has a fix cost rental...

It seems as though the training ground would not be included in any list of assets in the event of Wasps holdings going into administration

    Transfer Shouts

The owners need to be careful of selling any player who could lead to us being relegated. The value of the club would be significantly affected during any Sale period if we play in L1 next season.

    Kevin Maton

The use of loopholes by big business is one issue, which the government should sort out! Those companies do pay tax albeit not at a level I think they should. However, Worcester Warriors and now Wasps are different ....they are reported failing to pay due tax and Wasps now have the audacity to...

Wasps look insolvent if you take into account the liabilities that are now being reported: 1. Outstanding payments to HMRC 2. Interest payments for May - August for bond holders 3. Repayment of £35m bond 4. Loan from HM Government for Covid-19 The assets against liabilities looks in deficit...

You have a point - The club not owning the ground was always a high risk situation, which should have been included in their risk assessments.

Overall the Wasps situation looks grim: 1. The failure to repay the £35m bond in May. 2. The failure to secure refinancing of the bond in May, June, July & now? 3. The failure to maintain the pitch to a safe level. Leading to potential damages being sought. 4. The failure to submit audited...
