Match Thread Tuesday v Rotherham Match Thread

I was concerned that Fadz didn't seem to be moving that well and was the reason for him being substituted, along with him already having a yellow card and the risk of a second. Fingers crossed he's okay for Saturday It did highlight my view that the sale of Hyam leaves us vulnerable at the back...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Why would an events company buy the ACL now? They know that ACL will enter administration soon, so why take the risk of paying over the odds for the stadium. It doesn't make much sense to me. I'd welcome someone with more knowledge on these things to give some insight.

At that rate the administrator is going to have to pay someone to take it over. 😂

    The dom hyam sale

Our centre half issues will need addressing both in January and next summer. If Callum Doyle doesn't continue to get a decent amount of game time, we could face MCFC recalling him in January. Secondly, we know that both Panzo and Doyle will return to their clubs and with Fadz & Rose both out of...

You seem to be having a bad day. Perhaps you should attend some anger management sessions? I presume you're a bond holder and have been shafted out of a lot of money.

Does that figure take into account the secondary spend? A wholistic assessment of ccfc occupancy would be more accurate, rather than a single cost centre.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Would I be correct in my view that Wasps Holdings owns ACL? If I'm correct then can someone clarify how ACL can continue to operate, if it's parent company is placed in administration? Or has ACL been separated from Wasps Holdings recently?

BBC is losing its unbiased mantle due to having government donors as Chair, Director General and other party cronies on their board. It’s a bit tough being a journalist investigating those in power if they’re connected to your board.

A thing to consider with Ashley is his company tax situation, in that having sold NUFC last year. Would I be correct in thinking he has a limited period of time to reinvest the profit before capital gains tax kicks in? I’d welcome the accounting experts on here answering that question. If I’m...

Whilst funding has been denied.......is the council considering waiving any fees due?? Not sure that they are due anything, but even if they are it'll only be a minor figure in the whole debt issue of circa £50m+

What I find really strange is the game of rugby has traditionally been the sport of the public schooled "toffs" and something more aligned to the Conservatives. Whilst football is/was the game of the working people and much closer to the Labour party. So why the Coventry Labour group [supported...

American billionaire John McEvoy considers bid for club

Pride Park sold for between £20-22m. The CBS has the exhibition hall, so could be worth a bit more. Say £25m?? As for CCFC, what we are worth & what SISU would accept is anyones guess

The increasing number of American owners within the English game is a concern, due to the direction some of them would like to take our national game. A major factor is that English clubs are considered much better value than comparable American sports clubs and this is accentuated by the...
