Well thats kind of my point. In an ideal world we wouldn't need loans and could afford to sign a full squad of permanent players but thats not realistic at the moment. So if we must rely on loans then its surely better to have 5 good quality players in right from the start on season long deals...

It's the timing of bringing in loans as well. Under Pressley it seemed we had a never ending stream of loans coming in and leaving just as quick. I think if TM can get say 5 loan players in on season long deals (or at least until January) then they can at least feel as though they are part of...

I am spoiled for choice these days. The local amateur side play on a field literally at the end of my road so i nip down there most Sundays. Glossop North End are my nearest "proper" team and they have had an incredible season winning promotion and the NW counties cup, plus reaching the FA Vase...

I remember being quite pleased when we signed Pugh, Reda, Jackson and Tudgay. I really thought players like that would see us kick on and challenge at the right end of the league. Didn't quite work out did it!

David Perkins signed for Wigan after Blackpool let him go. Missed a trick there, really decent midfielder for league one. David Cornell available following release by Swansea, half decent keeper though i imagine he can get a champ club.

Reasonable defensive centre mid, looked good at Boro at times but did suffer with injuries. He is the wrong side of 30 mind.
