    Scab?

Don't know... ask the originator of the thread. Just commenting on a thread really. Definitely not expecting people to all agree with me on such a divisive issue... just saying as i saw it.

    Scab?

I went to the majority of Northampton games. Like everyone else in the stadium, didn't want to be there, but was just supporting the team, in the face of what where terrible off-the-field circumstances, and nobody really knew what was going on. Perfectly happy to lay the blame for playing there...

    Bournemouth tickets

I'm not a member, but i'm fairly sure the Nuneaton & Bedworth supporters club regularly advertise ticket/travel package on their social media for away games.

    Quite possibly/probably!!

    One of the greatest games?

One of my best memories from Highfield Road was when we played Leeds late 90's and was actually a defeat... 3-2 i think... it was the one where Hadji scored that half volley which was on goal of the month on MOTD. Brilliant match, brilliant atmosphere from both sets of fans.

    One of the greatest games?

At 3-3, Peter Ndlovu then went on a run past most of their defence then managed to miss... if i remember correctly, he might have hit the post/crossbar.

    Running

Ah yes, the county champs on Jan 6th (or is it 8th?)... Quite flat, twisty and fast for the most part, one decent hill towards the end of a lap, then downhill into the finish. Usually a two lap race i think. We are blessed round here to have such a strong XC league and regional/county champs...

    Taxi Ordered from East anglia

I remember that first season. We were also flying high early on. I remember we played Norwich early on, a real top of the league clash... i was away from Coventry that weekend but the game was live on Radio5, which was a massive novelty back then, we didn't often get such a billing.

    FA Cup 21/22

I was at St Albans City to see Bedworth United get relegated, perhaps 6-8 years ago.

@Rich nice one, well done. Yes that little climb is tough... if you can become stronger on the hills it really makes a difference on XC as you can gain an advantage onpeople through strength and determination, rather than having to rely on speed (which i'm far from blessed with!) Is Bedworth...

    Running

XC = cross country So it's off road.... i don't know in what condition the course was, but i train on it regularly and it varies from bone dry, rock hard and rutted, to muddy and waterlogged. A couple of little hills on there. It's fairly kind as XC courses go, but even then it's still...

How did you find it...? It's a great informal event for having a look at XC running. I was supposed to be there.... however i got a last-minute callup to our first team to run in the National XC Relays at Mansfield. I was well out of my depth, losing about 11 places on the anchor leg. Ran...

    Championship 21/22

100% I'm not really interested in getting into a protracted argument about it.... i have no doubt that i'm in the minority... it's just my feelings on the subject. I feel (perhaps wrongly) that late or high tackles are overly punished, whereas people deliberately fouling are relatively...

    Championship 21/22

I don't think that's a red card, in "today's game" or otherwise. Yellow at worst. They don't have the benefit of VAR (for whatever that might be worth), but a yellow would be correct imo. What pisses me off is when people commit deliberate fouls just to break up play.... blatantly tripping...

    Swansea and Bristol City Crowds

Exactly. It's a three hour car journey (with basically no alternative travel option). And despite the new-found love city fans have for our stadium, i'd imagine it still ranks fairly low on the list of must-do away days for champs teams. That said, i'd imagine they'll get up to 500+

Hope she did ok Daz....? I was out and about on Tamworth Rd between the 8 and 9 mile markers. Poor weather for road runners. I'd imagine the front-runners wouldn't have batted an eyelid, but for those who may only race a couple of times a year i can imagine it was a miserable couple of hours...

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

That is a very fair point... but if we fall away this year, or start badly next year, knives will be out in a shot. Look at last year... People suggesting he'd "hit his ceiling" with promotion from league 1 and we should replace with someone more experienced.

Is anyone doing the Coventry Half Marathon this weekend? I've been laid low with a cold and not ran since wednesday morning, but i might be out along the route somewhere on sunday if i can shift it....
