Read Sir Alex Ferguson's book, said he lost count of the amount of times teams left old Trafford with nothing, proud & counting themselves unlucky. If you can't win when you're playing well you're in trouble. The history of our great club is littered with hard luck stories.
Kind of agree, although the last Saturday before Christmas has historically affected numbers at football. Tis true however, had we been top, or at least if the wheels hadn't fallen off since Bradford, we'd pretty much fill every away end.
Well beaten today. The second half of the season collapse has started early. Hope I'm wrong for the loyal 1350 that travelled, since Bradford we've been shit
Boxing Day local fixtures
If you're not doing City v Posh and still wanna go somewhere:
Leamington are away (brackley)
Rugby Town are away (Daventry)
RC Warwick v Southam
Atherstone v Alvis
Tamworth v Nuneaton
We'll probably get beat at Swindon and more apathy will set in. I was gonna go, but really can't be arsed now. If I need a Boxing Day football fix I'll probably do Tamworth v Nuneaton, always a lively affair that.
The way I read it on GMK, people have no time for sisu but disaprove the way council/ACL seem to see the club as a cash cow.
It's a popular viewpoint, albeit not on here.
Some think a few individuals who go to watch city wherever they play are killing the club, yet don't see 1.2 million a year rent did far more damage. Idiot successive regimes agreed to it so that's justification.
