To be fair they have not yet played at the Arena, or bar one early round league cup game in the 80's haven't played a game in Cov since the 60's. It will be a new ground for them just as Craven cottage will be to most of our fans, which is likely to prove a draw to many.

I understand this is personal to you and I don't mean to sound unsympathetic, but not everyone that gambles is out of control. That said I've never understood why the gambling industry hasn't faced the same advertising restrictions as alcohol and tobacco companies have had to deal with.

For me NOPM was only a valid standpoint when we were in Northampton, and of course many did stay away during that time. Once back in Cov, regardless of owners, NOPM ceased to have any validity though. Most of the lapsed supporters I knew at that time had got out of the habit of going to games...
