    Investment on the Horizon?

Well in fairness would you give Timmy any more cash than you had to ?

    Last 100 players

Still there, not made a single appearance for them this season. Odd that he hasn't gone out on loan.

    Investment on the Horizon?

Getting ahead of ourselves. We have no real evidence that a takeover is in process.......... even if it is we don't know that it will actually happen............. or indeed any idea who the potential buyer might be. So getting shirty over changing of the clubs name or colours at this stage seems...

    Investment on the Horizon?

Tata have no interested in investing in anything outside of their core business. I think the Ricoh may well be rebranded as the Jaguar and/or Land Rover Arena when the naming rights come up again but that will be all.

Your Ideas On Moving The Club Forward

They won't do it, that's the point, but you must realise we are in a stalemate situation. It will only change if someone offers an olive branch. Any talk of new owners coming in to extricate us from the mire is just wishful thinking.

Your Ideas On Moving The Club Forward

I just think someone has to back down. If SISU offered to drop all the legal action in exchange for a proper consultation with the Council about solving our Stadium issues i think that would go a long way towards resolving some key issues. Trouble is it won't happen.

Did an interview with the Guardian today at the match

I don't like saying this but the truth of it is I am finding it really hard to give a shit anymore. Perhaps it's because i have lived away from Cov for so long now and can't get to every home game as i once did.............. but the constant merry go round of underperformance and off-field...

    New Horizon.......

Saab used a version of the Triumph Slant 4 engine, essentially the same engine as used in the Dolly 1850, Sprint and TR7. Initially built by Triumph at Canley and shipped to Sweden but later Saab acquired a license to build it themselves and developed it in to a 2 litre turbo that was still in...

    New Horizon.......

John Kipling. One of my Dad's best mates. He emigrated to New Zealand years ago now and sold the business. It's still going but now trades as Canley Classics

    New Horizon.......

My first car was a Herald too, A '69 13/60 Estate, followed by a '64 1200 Estate then a '65 1200 Saloon. Then about 15 other Triumphs of various flavours. These days i have a Vitesse Convertible and the grey Pi shown above.

    New Horizon.......

I prefer my motors to be made at Canley :)

    What would happen if?

Exactly this ^^ I live in the Peak District now (having lived in Manchester for many years before that) but have still managed to get to an average of 10 home games and at least 5 away games every season. Since moving to the sticks I watch my Village team play in the Hope Valley League as well...

    Investment on the Horizon?

I really cannot see this being a takeover. We have nothing going for us and the days of rich eccentrics with cash to burn are long gone. If their is investment coming i can only see it being SISU putting more money in themselves as a last roll of the dice to get us promoted or some sort of new...

    Investment on the Horizon?

Perhaps the "investment" is a more straightforward sponsorship arrangement rather than a stake in the team/company or perhaps it could be SISU themselves opting to put more cash in with the goal of putting us towards the top of the table and making us more salable? Whatever the truth of it...

    Sam Ricketts

Isn't it usually the case that Club and player come to some sort of settlement on a pay off?

    Mark Venus

I think its clear Venus has decided he wants the job, he would have ruled himself out of the running by now if he didn't. However, i don't think that automatically means SISU will give it to him. The more matches he wins though the harder it will be to give it to anyone else.

So, who do we want ?

Mark Cooper? His career has been up and down admittedly but he seems to do alright with limited resources. Like Keith Hill? He won't leave Dale for us in our present state but thats the kind of manager we need.

So, who do we want ?

id honestly prefer someone from the lower leagues who is looking for a chance to impress.
