Next season is going to be a Mess

Good call - Im going to ignore football and concentrate all my efforts on coaching the juniors at the rowing club - its good honest effort with everyone involved supporting the atheletes development and the good of the club in general from top to bottom and we all do it for free - I just wish...

Next season is going to be a Mess

Cant help thinking that next season is going to be interesting for all the wrong reasons - I predict Low attendances (No preperation has yet taken place to sell season tickets and with all the doubt about the venue to play home games who in their right mind is going to commit to buying one...

JPT ON SUNDAY - What a turnaround!

Johnstones Paint Trophy Final at Wembley this Sunday - What a turnaround in our fortunes since the Crewe semi-final. 31,000 at home with everyone worried they might not get a ticket for Wembley - all this followed by the hilarious Dan phone call and a steady surge up to the top 6! Does this...

ACL Shoot themselves in the foot & The Fans in the Head

When Sisu first got involved they thought we would be back in the Premier League within a season or 2 - if so this would have meant that their investment sic would have been a masterstroke! However we didnt and their investment wasnt!

ACL Shoot themselves in the foot & The Fans in the Head

Sitting in a corner with my face to the wall - fuming! Another wasted season albeit for different reasons than the last 10!

ACL Shoot themselves in the foot & The Fans in the Head

ACL pushed Sisu into sending the club into Admin and in turn resulting in the points deduction which effectively ends our season - If ACL had waited until the end of the season we might have made the play-offs and promotion which would have resulted in more money and a better chance of the club...

Tonights results arnt that bad for us.

The whole point of my short post was the fact that the teams around us are dropping points too. If we can find some consistancy (under new management) whos to say we cant make the top 6? I dont agree that its ALL OVER and I genuinely believe if we can take 6 points from the next 2 games and...

    Minimum number of directors required

As far as Im aware you only require 1 director for a Limited Liability Company and I dont think a Football Club is any different.

Tonights results arnt that bad for us.

Crawley 1 - 1 Carlisle MK Dons 3 - 0 Doncaster Stevenage 1 - 0 Brentford On the whole none of the above has done us any harm tonight and it looks as though all the teams around us are having the odd wobble. You never know if we could sort our home form out we still have every chance of a top 6...

Time to accept the inevitable - Start again its the only solution !!

I dont think dropping out of the leagues is likely - even Glasgow Rangers only went into the 3rd Division in Scotland. A more likely scenario is that we go bust and a new set of owners come in and we start again with a 10 point deduction. Unfortunately for you guys I see us remaining at The...

Sisu - Food at The Ricoh - Plus Funny Food Stories

With the current Crisis probably falling down because ACL refuse to declare the Catering Food and Drink numbers to Sisu I have began to wonder how much we take for food and drink on matchdays! Bloody Hell it must be a lot if its going to make this much difference to the future of Coventry City...

    When is insolvency not insolvency

In the end ALL sides end up losing something - It has been recognised that the deal on rent etc that is in force now is a bad one (for Sisu and for the football Club) and thats why ACL have agreed to negoiate it down to a more sustainable level so we are half way to getting a settlement. If all...

    When is insolvency not insolvency

Maybe ACL could simply declare the catering figures to SISU as requested for starters! Thing is that if the old company goes down the debt owed to ACL goes with it - they then have to find new tenants that will only start paying from that day (and not back-dated) - ACL could be backed into a...

    When is insolvency not insolvency

My view is that ACL are playing a very dangerous game here and all parties should go to "relate" and try and sort themselves out. In my experience any top name IP will charge around £1 million in the end to sort this out - somebody remind me what the ACL debt is again? Oh somewhere close to...
