    Running

Yes it started a few weeks ago. They had asked that only the invited "trial runners" attend for 6 weeks or so, to give the inexperienced organisers a chance to get used to it.... however word seems to have gotten out and i think general public are turning up now. I think the majority of the...

Taking your own food/drink into the CBS

I remember him getting attacked in that bar at Brentford away.... shameful. I was the only one who tried to stand up for him.

    Running

Did the parkrun at Warwick Racecourse this morning. 18:37 which considering the heat was very pleasing. 5th... most pleasing aspect for me was i was being chased hard by about 5 runners at halfway, but despite the conditions held my pace for the 2nd half, and finished well ahead of them.

Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

Tbf go round most parks in this country on a saturday and sunday..... and football is a game played by fat blokes who aren't very good at football.

    Saudi Arabian League

My mate had a western girlfriend (can't remember if she was German or Danish)..... and could only do simple things like hold hands with her in the confines of the "British Compound". Some standard of living

    Safe standing consultation

Nothing wrong with it at all.... i just think the overall atmosphere is far better when there's a large away allocation. For me it improves the matchday experience.

9 Years Ago Today - Our First Ricoh Return.

I thought it was 10-11000 for Yeovil. Nobody was expecting another sellout, but it was a pitiful crowd.

    Safe standing consultation

I'm probably in a absolutely tiny minority here.... but i don't want our away end to be paltry.... it massively improves the spectacle when there's 4000+ away fans. Regardless of demand from City fans, i'd like to see our away end stay at 4k minimum.

    Saudi Arabian League

One of my best friends lived for a number of years in Saudi Arabia.... he had some bad experiences whilst living there and said it was one of the few places he wouldn't go back to, to live..... and this is a chap who has lived all over Europe and Asia, not the ravings of a bigot... That said...

    Dabo

I'm sure it doesn't need saying, but blaming Dabo for us not going up is schoolboy stuff and certain people need to get a life and get over it. We didn't make it because we weren't strong enough to beat Luton over 90/120mins, and if it goes to penalties then you accept its a complete lottery.

    Running

Session on the track this morning at Pingles. Didn't do the full planned 10km effort.... stopped at 8km with 31.06 on the clock. 8.5 miles in total for the session including warmup/down.

    Rob Gurney

I agree with all of this. That said, it can only be a good thing that Rob Gurney is back.

    Running

Yes but it won't be a full race effort.... just a good quality longer effort.... i'm training for a 10 mile road race at the end of November.

    Running

I went down to Bedworth Park last night with a bit of chalk and marked out a mile on the parkrun course. 4 x 1 mile with approx half mile recovery jog to take me back round to the start line. 5:42 5:44 5:43 5:49 Didn't have a planned quantity of reps before i started... just intended to keep...

    Cardiff away

No idea as i missed the first half/goal! Would be 2007/8 season.

    Cardiff away

i remember going there a few weeks after we'd beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford. A manhole cover collapsed on the M50 and loads of city fans were held up in the chaos.... we didn't get there until half time. They missed a penalty in the last minute and we held on to win 1-0. As i...

Worst kick off of all time?!

I remember them interviewing City fans before the match on CWR and one piping straight up with "shit on the villa" Rob Gurney cut him straight off and said "i'm not quite sure what he said, but let's hope we do....."

    Sunderland crowd..

The German 2nd division running it close with 12 (out of only 18 teams). But they've got three teams over 40k (including one at about 57k and another 60k+) They've also got 6 who would be higher than Leeds in 2nd.

    Luton Town

Should they change their tactics and play beautiful expansive football (and get smashed 6-0 every week), just because they got promotoed? Or continue with their tried & tested style of play, which given the poor standard at the bottom of the premier league, might give them the faintest glimmer...

Match Thread Coventry City - Sunderland Match Thread - Saturday 26th Aug

It's absolutely ridiculous. If we couldn't go up in the playoffs i'd have preferred Luton out of any of the teams who were still in the hunt over the last few games.
