Aren't we forgetting a little something called the Johnston's Paint Trophy....?

That must've been "there and back" to make 5 miles??? I like running Tamworth/Radford Road.... once you've got to the top of Corley Rocks (i'm coming from Bedworth side) and heading towards the city centre its flat/downhill nearly all the way into town

I've probably mentioned that i'm training for the World Masters Uphill Mountain Champs in the Pyrenees in September. All arranged now, flying out 5 days before in an attempt to acclimatise a little prior to the race. Race is about 4 miles, but starts at approx the height of Ben Nevis, then...

Do we have the best fans or the worst in football?

Our fans aren't much different to most others. But thats hardly a high bar to judge against. The issue is we tell everyone that we're the "best fans in the league" then boo the team off after first home defeat for months. Its easy to be the "best in the league " when you're on a massive...

    QF Draw

I'm failing to understand the lack of spectacle in Wolves away in quarter final of FA Cup tbh. Superb draw.

    QF Draw

Wolves away would be a fantastic draw for an FA Cup quarter final. Local derby, hostile crowd. Fantastic. Brighton away would arguably be one of the poorer picks available (unless Southampton pull off a shock), but its all relative.... a European level side away is by no means "a shit draw"

    QF Draw

Exactly. If you said 5 years ago we'd be in an FA Cup QF at home to Leicester in front of 30000 fans, having recently thraped them in the Championship, people would be sending for the men in white coats.

    QF Draw

After the results last night, its looking like every team left in will be pretty mouth-watering (especially if Wolves beat Brighton) Newcastle Leicester Man City Chelsea/Leeds Forest/Manchester United Liverpool Wolves/Brighton There isn't a "poor" tie in there.

A return to Godiva hard club sessions tonight, after a few weeks juggling a couple of injuries. 3 x 1 mile (3 minute rests), on a loop around the Univ Of Warwick campus. 5:38 5:36 5:32 Very pleased how it went considering i'm still not absolutely 100%.... would like to see those at 5:30 when...

    QF Draw

Can't understand the comments of Leicester/Wolves being a boring tie. Local derby in the FA Cup Quarter Finals. Place at Wembley up for grabs. Sounds alright to me.

Bloody arrogant Maidstone fans. Who do they think they are.

    New Northen National Stadium

The time to build a new national stadium would have been when Wembley was redeveloped. I think the ship has sailed on the idea now.

Safe Standing Survey Email from CCFC

The reason it was horrendous was because the stewards/police made a concerted effort to get people to sit down in the "Telegraph Stand" as it was then.... at the time the majority of former West Terrace fans were in there, however in a bigger stand they were more diluted and mixed in with...

National Cross Country Championships on saturday at Weston Park (between Wolverhampton and Telford). A new course so nobody knows what to expect. I'm 50/50 whether to race or not, as currently juggling a couple of minor niggles (tendonitis in my left ankle and bursitis on my right hip). With a...

    Play Off Race '24 thread

I reckon we're now getting close to it being 2 from 5 with tonight's results. A week or two ago it was probably 2 from 9. If we were to beat Preston on friday it may well knock them out of the race, given their poor goal difference.

    sunderland sacked Beale

Its tiny margins (as i say on many threads). Game against us they were on top and basically missed an open goal to go 1 up. Score that and they could easily have gone on to beat us, and who knows what confidence that would've bought.... Players don't get the finger pointed at them, because...
