    OH WHAT A GLORIOUS MORNING

I wonder if he'll move MVE on to raise funds. It would be a great shame with the way he's playing but he might just be tempted to "let it ride on lucky seven" if we're still up there

    OH WHAT A GLORIOUS MORNING

I believed for years that he'd wanted to go. It was just recently that I heard that he and Strachan had agreed to a new contract only for the board to sell him!

    OH WHAT A GLORIOUS MORNING

It'll come down to luck with injuries and whether we have the depth in the winter months.

    Transfer Rumour Kaine Kesler-Hayden

Interesting that's he's brought Bidwell on in the last couple of games. JDS had a bit of a tough time defensively against Milwall and that was a shocking card he took yesterday for the late challenge. Also a poor cross that he put over the bar. The improvement has been good I think and he's a...

    Transfer Rumour Kaine Kesler-Hayden

I'd like to see just how he gets on starting at RB in a much more defensive game.

    OH WHAT A GLORIOUS MORNING

That Liverpool game came out of nowhere too. I heard it on R5 but the Villa game was a bit special! Blackburn away too and then we went on and sold Gally!

    OH WHAT A GLORIOUS MORNING

Just seen it all before. Top of the Prem in its first season 92-93 after 3 games, finished 15th. I don't think we'll fade like these seasons but it's very early to be talking automatics.

The quality of our crossing has come on quite a bit, especially from the right. The left is still a "work in progress" from that pov. I'd like to see jds, for all his good touch and skill on the ball, getting some assists now.

I thought it wasn't quite that clear cut for the lino - easy in slow motion. He was a little behind the line too. Obviously would have been sick if they scored it, but with 4 men there and who is and who isn't interfering it's tough in a split second.

    OH WHAT A GLORIOUS MORNING

It's brilliant but whisper: it's still very early days. Remember 1983 home against Liverpool, Gibson hat trick before HT, finished 4-0 and Fagan tipped us for the title. We finished 19th and avoided relegation by one place!

Just looking up some of the all time team scoring records Most league goals scored in a season: 134, Peterborough United (Fourth Division, 1960–61) Most home league goals scored in a season: 87, Millwall (Third Division South, 1927–28) Most away league goals scored in a season: 60, Arsenal...

    Rushworth or Wilson

Even Turner gives Vera a 6.5. He had nothing to do!

    You don't think he would?

    Rushworth or Wilson

Even Collins would have looked best in the League over the past few games, let's be honest. It doesn't tells us a great deal really but good to see the clean sheets, obviously.

I'm not so sure. Nothing was really that clear cut once you see it back. The xG was less than the 5 in the end.

Torp is said to be "fit but rested". Read that as you like

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

They'll get the book thrown at them if it's only a few. Some will be daft enough, I expect.

    Wright

He also won the header that set up the goal. That was as good to see as much as the goal itself. We were saying here that he looks a bit fitter, he was certainly sharper. He needs to show what he can do in that sub role now and on a regular basis.

He was very off the pace on Wednesday. He's clearly not match sharp whether he was carrying a knock or not.
