    Most important signing in Robins

They all played their part and deserve our thanks. I would also add Liam Walsh who was probably our most influential player in the League 1 winning season.

    England or City

Cov matter to me more than England, but will still watch every match I can once the World Cup starts. This World Cup does seem slightly weird having it mid season but I hope England can win, even more so if Maddison & Wilson get to play more than a bit part. What I like about the World Cup is...

    Ben Wilson

The game I remember him flying in recklessly last season was against Huddersfield. If he had dived in likewise on Saturday think Chair would have bought a penalty out of it, the same as O'Brien did in that Huddersfield game.

    Ben Wilson

No one seems to have commented on Wilson pulling out from diving at the QPR players feet (Chair I think) in the 1st half, when he ended up putting the ball in the side netting. Wilson has previous form for recklessly diving in on similar occasions in the last few years and conceding a penalty...

    QPR attendance

I know we're not exactly at half way, but now would seem the perfect time to put half season tickets on sale. The club always seem a bit slow on taking advanatage whenever there's a feelgood factor though.

    Gyokeres

MR has done a fantastic job but I can't see him possibly replacing Gyokeres in the January window and us still having a shot at the play offs. I so hope we can persuade him to stay until the end of the season, and that the owners can be persuaded to wait to cash in until that time too.

    Ben sheaf

Probably because in those games the opposition have looked to take the game to us. Wigan are probably going to set up in a more defensive pattern and sit deeper, allowing us less space to thread passes in from midfield and for Gyokeres to get in the space behind them. That said I have no problem...

It is also possible that MR will go with 2 up front (maybe tonight?), leaving room for only 3 of the 6. Who plays then?

    Match Thread Wigan Match Thread

I haven't looked it up but at HR we did have a decent record against Liverpool in the 70's/ 80's, particularly considering how good they were. There were an awful lot of draws though which were like moral victories. Maybe its Sky Blue tinted specs, but I can remember as many wins as defeats...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

This should be fun - perhaps we could all have a guess at what school Grendel went to. I'll start with guessing King Henry VIII.

They seem quite happy with buying him so far!!

    What we can do

We are all in the dark at the moment. Until we are clearer what the actual situation is there doesn't seem much point in taking a stand. I guess we could always take a lead from Father Ted though :)

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Another thing that doesn't add up is Ashley only being interested in controlling the arena. His previous attempt to take over Derby suggests that he wants back into football. Common sense also indicates that the fortunes of CCFC will provide a focal point for publicity surrounding the arena...

Time to put pressure on SISU?

I don't know for definite but I thought it stood, and only liquidation could change that. The back up plans to play somewhere else was more to do if the Administrator did not keep enough people on for the stadium to run events, rather than whether the terms of the agreement stood. That was my...

Time to put pressure on SISU?

I imagine SISU might be open to selling to Ashley, as him buying ACL means they won't have to put their hands in their pockets to pay out themselves. I can't see Ashley not wanting control of the football club, as the club's profile will bring wider attention to the arena as a whole. The 8 years...

    Ratings v Blackburn

Chalk and cheese from the Blackpool game. I was worried there wasn't enough time for the squad to recover from the collective illness so kudos to all of them. Wilson - 7 Eccles - 7 Rose - 7 Doyle - 7 Panzo - 8 (his best game of the season) Bidwell - 7 Sheaf - 7 Hamer - 8 (hope the injury is...

    Ben Wilson

It does feel that we missed a golden opportunity for a short term fix by not looking at Ben Foster. Probably no point now as it would probably take him too long to get up to speed unfortunately.

    Ratings

Wilson - 4 not been one on his back, but a lot of todays defensive disorganisation came from him Kane - 6 not a bad return to the team Bidwell - 5 poor for 2nd goal, seemed lethargic like he has had or is about to get the sickness bug Doyle - 4 very poor, with the equaliser his particular low...

    Thought up to the WC

Are you happy with 5 correct? I reckon that would be par for the course for most people most weeks, which is why it is a pretty pointless exercise all in all.
