So if this is a forced takeover...

Wrong. They are here because they didn't mind moving a club 95 miles away from it's rightful home. You know the thing people hate SISU for. C'mon Dongo. Call a spade a spade. Don't make out that they are wonderful people, they're not. There as bad as SISU if not worse. Same for the council...

If SISU are going to stay...

Thing is since Northampton SISU seem to have got better in running a football club, the football side anyway. By judgement or luck? I'd say both. Life dictates that you need a bit of luck on the way. Despite insisting on match day revunues and non match day revenues. Ticket prices have not gone...

If SISU are going to stay...

What have SISU done that bad to warrant an all out assault on the football club, the history and tradition, the fans, the city? No one likes SISU. Everyone knows they fucked up, even they probably know that, from buying us to not sorting out the rent sooner. Does this really justify CCC and...

So if this is a forced takeover...

Keep referring to the statement is just allowing the CCC and Wasps to get away with it. We know it was posturing, we know it was to drive the price down, we know SISU were conducting business their way, distressing a company to acquire it as cheap as possible. We knew it weren't going to happen...

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

That's interesting - think Nick Eastwood quoted 92% of the 28,000 had Coventry post codes which equates to about 2500 from elsewhere (inc away supporters). So possibly a hardcore from outside Coventry of about 2000 to 3000. Impressive. Love the enthusiasm for freebies, esp. Schools etc. But it...

    Falling out of love....

I just meant in relation to him being brought in. I suppose he was brought in as he had a CV on his promotion. The only problem was once teams found us out we didn't have an answer. How the FA want to play more technical football yet have employed him as a manager of the under 20's I believe...

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

Cheers Si80. Enough land for an academy base? Not sure of the boundaries. As a handshake? Is that deal completed or a sweetner to complete the deal?

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

Whilst the football club they proclaim to support is being bullied itself. SISU started it though, sir! All very playground behaviour.

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

I suggested asking Tigers/Saints/Warriors fans to boycott the Ricoh as they sell a lot of tickets thus increasing the attendance and coffers. It didn't go down well on the Wasps forum.

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

The telegraph comments are unbelieveable. I was on there but it crashes my laptop so left them to it. More issues than Beano the people on there.

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

I stand corrected. Would be nice to know the % for just CV postcodes.

    Falling out of love....

Aidy Boothroyd had got Watford promoted. Initially also did well with City. Did play shit football though

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

The ST land has apparently been bought by Wasps. My theory is this has been bought with moving their academy up here in mind. Use Higgs land for their training centre and ST land for the academy. Just a theory though. Si80 is certain a deal has been done, just not been confirmed publically.

    Save Our City

Yet if you comment on the Telegraph comments you're a SISU troll. There they are though trolling around newspaper websites. Couldn't make it up.

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

I'm sure it's 92% from CV postcodes. Think it came from Wasps too. Happy to be corrected though.

    Predominently CV postcodes I believe

    Save Our City

If the Observer wants to mount a public campaign, let's get rid of the owners or fold and do a Wimbledon - at least there is something honourable in that. I thought Telegraph comments were bad.

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

I'm aware it's been suggested before. I have also suggested it before. Social media is massive. Ex-players will have a greater reach than everyday fans. I didn't claim it to be a pioneering moment in the idea world.

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

Have we got anyone on here that has any idea about planning applications? In either how we can hold it up or how we can get it rejected? People have made objections, does this definitly mean it will go before a comittee rather than an officer? Do we have any details of the netball teams who use...

Wasps reject proposal to withdraw application

Not everyone knows the full details. With a concentrated campaign to get facts in the public could sway opinion. Also if a few ex-players joined the campaign that would certainly help. Callum Wilson backing the campaign for Wasps to withdraw the application to protect the very academy that has...
