Bidwell very good.
Impressed by Doyle.
A midfield comprising Hamer and Palmer will be very dynamic in the season ahead.
Add in O'Hare and a reversion to 3-5-1-1 with Vik leading the line and there's plenty to look forward too.
Formation wasn't quite right for us today, 3 upfront but unlucky...
Agreed SBH but seriously anyone who wants a punch up should get into the boxing ring vs. bringing it into the football.
Of course the morons won't do that as they don't have the courage or skills.
Easier to jump up and down and gesticulate behind 20 lines of police at the opposition so called...
We always look better with Dabo in the team at RWB.
Panzo - brilliant signing.
Add in O'Hare, Adaramola, Palmer at 100%, and Godden back to his usual sharpness - plenty to look forward too.
Deja vu is seeing you criticize 99% of what the club does - ranging from the manager, players, owners, directors. Anyone can play the role of armchair know it all/critic. Take a day off perhaps and spare the rest of us from the usual nonsense?
Trying to understand this.
8 weeks of hysterics and speculation over one of the big 3 being sold.
Now hysterics by some over one of the big 3 NOT being sold?
Sometimes the club just can't win.
I hear what you are saying Briles. On the other hand it was always inevitable that one of the big 3 would be leaving. MR and his team are brilliant at planning ahead; and I am absolutely certain that plans are in place. I'm also not buying into the argument that MR will not be given funds to...
Kevin Keegan - rejected by us, did alright for himself at Liverpool and Hamburg.
Chris Waddle - similar
Brian Clough - very close to being appointed before lifting successive European Cups with Forest
Just to offer a counter view on Doyle being too young; Garry Gillespie joined us at the age of 18 after just 20 odd appearances in Scotland. Would make it into most City all time 11s for anyone in my age group. I’m looking forward to seeing young Doyle making a real contribution this season.
Disagree slightly Tom.
Dabo was certainly poor at RCB, I'm sure he didn't want to play there but it wasn't his fault that he was asked to do so - that's with the coaches.
He's also a player who looks off the pace for a couple of games after injury - but that might also result from being...
I thought it wasn't possible after the last few years of pre-season but I have to say that the hysterics this year are already reaching whole new levels.
Can't wait to see what's next!
“Tim, what are we going to do?”
Said by no other club owner.Ever. Except in Tim’s extremely vivid imagination resulting from a hugely inflated ego.
But don’t worry lads - our financial problems are over. We’re partnering with Micky Adams who’s training a few students to kick a ball around...
