    Dave Tarpey turned us down

A cruel blow has been given to Dave Tarpey, 5 minutes into his home debut against Cambridge while jumping for a header he lands badly doing his acl. He's set to miss the remainder of the season. It's a cruel game

Burge 7.5 looks solid this year, yet more fine saves Grimmer 7.5 excellent last night and a great threat down the wing Willis 7 won his battles and vocal in claiming balls in the air Davis 8 didn't put a foot wrong, great addition to the side Stokes 7 a better evening for him, more solid than...

    Lee Burge

Got to give credit where it's due. He's claimed the position back well and made some unbelievable saves at times.

    Injuries

Apologies but I didn't see it. Baring the nice run through on goal and tidy finish I wasn't massively impressed. Thought he lacked any decent movement to put himself into good positions other than the goal and lacked any urgency to do something. Still the goal was very welcome and set us on...

    Can we win the league?

I know what you mean. We'd likely lose the 1st game 3-0 with Lee Burge having a off day to dampen the mood and the place go into meltdown before Stuart Beavon and Peter Vincenti score 3 each to become hero's in a 6-0 classic while Maxime Biamou shooting us to promotion at Wembley. While then...

    Can we win the league?

My early prediction hasn't changed we will just make the playoffs. And to be honest I'd rather go up via the play offs (if it was nailed on obviously) than finish 2nd or 3rd. Although its guaranteed promotion another delightful day at Wembley is far better.

Match Thread Coventry City - Carlisle United Match Thread - Tuesday 12th Sep

A sneaky 1-0 win tonight again I feel. Missed Saturdays game due to spending the weekend away for my daughters birthday. Finally caught up on all things ccfc. Typical we've got some key injuries, just hope we keep the winning momentum going.

    Kwame to Sutton

I hope this loan move is a success for him in terms of fitness and goals. Another set back and it could be the end of his time here at ccfc

    PL Transfer Window

I think them premier league and EFL should be separate in this one with the EFL sticking to the 31st August. Plenty of clubs loan academy players from the big boys who are reluctant to let out some of there kids so soon after preseason, preferring to keep them in and around the first team in...

    Turning point today.

I was in the Collins camp, he would of been a great addition as he would in any league two side. However he suits the style of L2 and gets goals, he's proven that. However we opted not to go that route yet play like we did at times... especially with the the lump it from the back tactics from...

    Turning point today.

For me and my view it was a combination of 1) On the players front for me was the tempo of play mostly and decision making especially when in good positions and the fact McNulty was having one of them days. 2) On MR it was his decision making during the game, maybe he could of had a better...
