    Oxford Away

No that was against West Brom in the Checkatrade I think. Great goal. Unlikely goalscorer.

Assuming you mean the Trust? As they seem to have no intention of asking anything of Wasps or the council I think that that one is a dead duck. I think we can leave them out of the equation. What can we do to get the ideas you have mentioned working?

Assuming that the Trust are not going to do this, would it be possible to put one together from this forum? I would think that it needs to be an institution rather than just individuals. It would also need to be taken up by both traditional and social media.

Okay, I’m up for that. How do we get the media to put pressure on them? How do we get them to answer questions and how do we get to be a constant annoyance? Whatever we do, we need to do it soon and get the ball rolling.

    Okay, what is your solution?

If this is true, what is the upshot? Do we just sit on our hands and let things carry on around us? Why aren’t there protests at what the council are doing? Hard to see that the telegraph could ignore several hundred City fans who protest outside the council house. I would be up for this, would you?

What is being said is about putting pressure on all sides including Sisu. I agree that the way that they will fund it will be through the sale of players. That will affect what MR can do on the pitch. As mentioned in the posts I have made above, why are we as a body of fans letting Duggins and...

One idea that has come up a few times would be to protest inside the Ricoh at a Wasps game. If it were possible to organise for even a hundred City fans to congregate in an agreed part of the stadium, wearing sky blue singing pro CCFC songs. If it was a televised game even better, make sure we...

What if nothing is happening and we are drifting towards another season at St Andrews?

    10 weeks - any news ?

I agree that there is a minimal amount that fans can do. At the moment placid acceptance seems to be the default position. Both Wasps and CCC could say that most City fans are accepting the situation. That is not right. Even if we can’t change things, shouldn’t we still show our discontent? The...

    10 weeks - any news ?

Sisu will have to make up the short fall from the poor crowds at St Andrews. While it is certainly CCFC who are being distressed and the fans, it must be costing Sisu millions to sustain a club playing in Birmingham for a year. Our absence is costing Sisu more than it is costing Wasps (if...

The big point here is that playing out of Coventry is unacceptable, it isn’t right. We need to be back playing in our own city as soon as possible. The only thing making it at all palatable is the prospect of a good season. If things go wrong on the pitch I think the small crowds become even...

    Kastaneer, Allen, Godden

Yes it was a fantastic season of attacking football, my favourite in 52 years of watching City. Every time we played that year we just attacked from the start. With the way that the full backs, Graham Oakey and Bobby MacDonald, played the formation was virtually 244. Wonderful stuff with Hutch...

    Pay on the gate

They were announcing details of Saturday’s game as we were leaving last night. Price is £20 for adults with no increase if you pay on the day.

    Jobello

I thought he had a good game yesterday. However, I haven't seen anyone mention his comedy header in the second half. He had the chance to do a Keith Houchen as a cross came in from the right. He got his timing all wrong and "nosed" the ball down into the turf and back up into his face. I think...

Match Thread Bolton Wanderers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Aug

For the second goal, both the linesman and the ref were in conversation for several seconds. The linesman didn't initially flag for offside or start running back to the half way line to indicate a goal. He made no decision. They presumably were discussing what had just happened. Certainly the...

Transfer Rumour To put things into perspective.....

The first goal that apparently should have stood would have completely changed the out look of that game. The Bolton boys would have had nothing to defend and the awful tension that gripped our players and fans from the start would have been broken. I think we would have run out easy winners. I...

Only going off the comments that Mr mae himself. He seems to have changed what he is saying (no criticism of Robins. He has been a great manager for us).

    Bolton tickets

I think the biggest losers are all City fans, not CCC or businesses. I say this and I have a season ticket at St Andrews. I enjoyed last week but that is beside the point. We are Coventry and need to play in our own City. Pressure needs to be put on all sides. Sisu have said that they want to...

    Loan player watch

Something seems to have changed. At the start of preseason Robin’s stated that playing at St Andrews would not affect his budget, he was being backed and we were going for it. He reiterated this at the kit launch where he said he wanted another 3 players (by that stage we already had our ten new...
