I guess all I was saying was that we were all surprised that Doyle has had such a big impact and I think MR probably was too. I don't think he signed him thinking that he was the pivotal lynch pin to win promotion

Yeah maybe so. I just think that re-signing ex players is always a gamble and MR couldn't have known that this one would pay off as well as it did. I suppose though all signings are gambles aren't they so i guess it makes no odds.
