    Better now than 2012?

Was Garner the right winger who looked really handy in the pre-season games and then was unbelievably toss as soon as the season started?

    Hyam

Bayliss is contracted till 2020 anyway. Not unusual for a player in demand to sign a new contract that doesn't extend the length of stay but improves the terms as it then strengthens our hand when negotiating a sale.

    Better now than 2012?

Moussa didn't sign for us until September 2012

    Hyam

McNulty obviously, Shipley i would imagine is due a wage rise having established himself in the first team. Bayliss to at least see if hes willing to stay and/or get him on a better contract ahead of a sale in January/Summer 2019. Kelly would be another one i'd guess. Biamou possibly, if hes...

    Better now than 2012?

Fleck missing from that team, pretty sure he was on the books then? What about Keogh, when did he sign?

    Better now than 2012?

Richard Wood i would say was then and arguably still is now, better than our current defence. Joe Murphy better than Burge maybe/probably? Other than those two the team now is better by a country mile.

    Hyam

I think the fact that we know he is in negotiations means they are going well. We must be in discussions with several other players who only have one season left to run but Hyam is the only one officially announced as being "in negotiation". I take that to mean that it's pretty much a done deal...

    Bye bye Villa

It was obvious the current owner was going to walk away if they didn't make it back to the Prem ASAP. There's no money to be made for foreign owners outside of the top flight.

    Bye bye Villa

I take no pleasure from Villa as a club being in the shit, just goes to show how fucked football is in this country. How long before Bruce resigns? End of the day, tomorrow maybe?

    Summer Recruitment

I hope we keep Stokes, decent cover for LB and CB and a good pro to have amongst the younger players.

    Steve Taylor

Or Doyle in a player/coach role perhaps?

    Ccfc transfer rumours

I said the same thing but he's interesting several championship clubs apparently

    Retained List

Apart from anything else, all footballers and strikers especially, go through huge variations in form. I seem to remember a certain Callum Wilson achieved naff all for quite a few seasons and was on the verge of being released before he came good and made a career for himself. George Thomas...

    League one news/transfers 2018/19

They've kept Stead on as well so that gives them a fair amount of firepower for next season. Much as I dislike Nolan, a good friend of mine is a County fan so I hope they make it up next season for his sake.

    Reise Allassani - New signing

My new favourite player before he's even kicked a ball. Loving this signing, he's no one's cast off, he's clearly level headed and determined to make it as a pro. He's the right age to really kick on and would seem he has an eye for goal. Best of all we knew nothing about the signing until after...

    Retained List

If we were in need of another keeper Lewis Price wouldn't be a bad shout.

    Ccfc transfer rumours

FFS no more than you have any evidence he's going to stay. Its an opinion, just not the same as yours.

    Summer Recruitment

Possible i suppose but i think a big pay day in America or China while he does his coaching badges probably has more appeal.

    Summer Recruitment

This may be a bit of a left field suggestion but Bury have just released Andrew Tutte, formerly of Rochdale and Man City. Still only 27 and has clocked up quite a few appearances at league one level. I watched him quite a few times playing for Dale and while he never set the world alight he...
