Weren't really any gilt edged chances. We are a bit too open when ahead but the good saves weren't from brilliant chances. Blackburn xG was 0.98 to 2.73 for us!

The play off season wasn't even that good a run to the end, we had some strange games in the last quarter of the season where we dropped points: Wigan away, Preston away, Stoke home, Watford home yet still made it.

Kitching looks at least a stone lighter than he did last season, looks more agile and that run forward for the second goal demonstrated it well, he's reasonably quick to be fair to him.

They all played well tonight, they're reasonable to good players individually. We played a high line tonight which is risky and the odd time got exposed in behind, one of them was MVE dropping too deep. Between the 4 players that were on they defended well.

I still think we left ourselves open a bit too long tonight but credit where it's due he made changes which ended the game really. We definitely weren't too nice tonight and disrupted them a lot (albeit Cantwell loves going to ground). One game at a time and on to Saturday.
