Much like Wilson, the clean sheets record is largely down to the defence of the whole team. Of regular starting keepers, he faced the fewest meaningful shots against him.
Wilson improved massively as the season went on & is a much better keeper.
Yeah, absolutely. I think he took the wrong (selfish) option on many occasions but most top strikers would probably do the same. I think MR said similar in one of his post match press conferences. I also think such instances stick in the mind though & are actually overplayed by supporters.
