On what evidence will EMC be a very good player? For a start, he doesn't seem to have any pace. When he does get away from a defender they're right back with him within a few strides. His shooting has been dreadful - at range they end up in row Z, and he's not been at all clinical from closer...

Not sure I've ever seen Robins that frustrated, the words, the tone, the body language. And directed directly at his own players too. That'll go one of two ways. Either it fires players up and we improve, or he loses the dressing room and then it will be curtains for him.

How good is Robins tactically though? I’m starting to think we need a manager who is ready and able to implement a truly modern tactical system. Some of the decisions Robins is making really don’t suggest he has a consistent tactical idea.

Only 2 of the starting XI today were new signings and Rudoni was one of our best players. Docin’s done nothing wrong either. We have some quality players, as we saw last season, just not getting anything out of them.

Questions for Robins if we don’t get back into this one

Simms must be fuming. Starts and scores in our last league game, rested for the league cup then dropped for a guy who didn’t even score.

People absolutely spaffing their pants about a striker who hasn’t even scored a goal yet. Give it time. Simms still first choice. Bassette has impressed and should definitely get more mins off the bench in the league.

Bit of a tangent but I have often wondered if the ban on alcohol in view of the pitch may actually make things worse. It certainly feels like for many there is a need to fill up on booze before KO and smash a pint in 15 mins at HT in anticipation of not being able to drink while in the stands.

Better stewarding, pushing back coach times etc. There's quite a few things that could be tried if it is that much of an issue.

Verstappen 1.3s off the top in FP2. He might even struggle to get into Q3, this could get tasty.

Standing is a separate issue. What solution are you proposing? At any away game 80-90%+ of us will be standing, do you think everyone should sit? It's a hard one. But again, a separate issue from swapping seats.
