Ffs, Dasilva got caught out for the first goal AND failed to cut out the cross. And gave the ball away in the move that resulted in the second goal. Other than that his hair looked lovely.

But as you correctly pointed out, both came from our own errors. Dasilva got done like a kipper on the first, and Thomas was ball watching instead of getting ahead of his man to cut the cross out. (He had no idea where the scorer was) The second goal came from us giving the ball away...

Today was very typical of our season so far, we played some great football, dominated for much of the game, but gifted the opposition 2 piss poor goals which cost us 2 points. If we can sort our defence out we'll fly up this league.

Hamer played some lovely passes, but didn't really get hold of the game, and O'hare was largely Ineffective.

Putting the red card incident to one side, I love the way he gave us the physical presence we've lacked upfront. He battled for everything and gave us an outlet. Dare I say it, shades of an early Gyokeres.

Bassette was awesome, so much better than Simms. We lost some aggression and movement once he went off, but may have got sent off if he stayed on.

I'd of settled for a point before kick off, so you've got to be happy. Lots of positives from the performance (even before the red card) and you can't fault the effort, and Carr gets plenty of credit. I've said it before, we are only a couple of decent defenders away from being a very good...
