Not written him off, and I rate him very highly as a player but he's similar to Grimes and not convinced Lampard really wants that. When he's fit again he should be at least be able to ease himself back in rather than being rushed back as he was earlier this season.
I can't really remember having seen him on any of the recent clips from training sessions. Good luck to him. His track record / background is in youth football so I'm sure he'll get a role somewhere.
Once we've got a fully fit squad and assuming no players depart. Is this Lampard's likely preferred 11?

He was only on a paltry £1,000,000 per year before this.
Seriously, it was a bit low of him implying that his family had something to do with it, as if the kids had told him to leave.
Clubs will always try and push the narrative that the player wanted to go, even where it might have been in their interests to sell at that point anyway. He's got two years left and his about to turn 30, his potential value is diminishing. In their last published accounts for y/e 2023 they made...
Coventry's arterial routes in general are quite wide, there are pavements, grass verges and then road space. There is potentially room for a tram running on a central reservation alongside traffic in some places I'm sure.
I saw that and thought the same. That said, it is the ultimate consequence of a game that prioritised commercial interests over football over 30 years ago
It is diminished as much because people are increasingly unlikely to believe in such utter nonsense, especially in a world with easy access to so much information.
