Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield Wednesday Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Dec

By controlling the match you control the players. I’ve done the course thanks, and have been consistently taught to intervene and calm the situation before it gets out of control. Same as my job in the police

Come on no need to be rude. The referee is in control of the match, it’s something like law 5 or 6 of the FAs laws.

I disagree, they are meant to be in control of the game so should be calming the situation down before it escalates and someone gets hurt

Well looking at the video the ref was so slow to react and control the situation, Kitching had been hit 3 times before the ref did anything, so the ref should also be disciplined for lack of control

Maybe Robins decided to rest a few players with the expectation of loosing the points and giving COH some game time for fitness. Keeping other players fit for other games

We’ve worked hard enough to win by the sounds of it. Hopefully not another 3 points lost from wrong decisions by a ref. There really needs to be something done about the poor performances of referees in the English game

I don’t get it, first game against Leicester we went toe to toe with them and were unlucky to loose. I felt we were the better team tonight apart from the spell in the second half. But no where near as good as against Leicester

What’s the point in Sakamato, seems like such a talent but if we can’t fit into our system why did we buy him

£5m is far too much for a league 1 player, time to move on, they are taking the piss
