    Good morning all

I went to walking football this morning (Sky Blues in the community). There was a really buoyant atmosphere there. Most of the blokes are either active or lapsed fans but a few I spoke to who hadn't been going to St Andrews said they would be going to the last few games. Maybe yesterday, with...

League One Team Of The Season

I think Walsh has been great since he signed. One or two games a little below his usual level but overall, I think he looks a class above this league.

    Super Matty Godden

3 of his last 4 goals have come against teams at the top. Sunderland the best goals against record in the league.

Oxford in Checkatrade too even with an already (almost) relegated team.

    CCFC 2018/2019 Accounts Thread!

Where does that money come from? Is it people that Sisu have convinced to ‘invest’ in the club. If I had money to invest I don’t think I would do it on a club like ours. Who is it who keeps putting in the money that keeps us afloat and why would they do it? If it is Sisu/ Seppala’s own money...

Last time we top of Division 3.

Wasn’t that game a very rare Saturday night game?

    When was the last time

We won the Championship on the last day of the season beating Millwall while Wolves lost away. On March 1st 1967 there is a good chance Wolves were top.

I don't think Robins has favourites. I think he is quite ruthless and will play the players who he thinks will get the job done. Doyle, Grimmer and Stokes were all jettisoned for players Robins thought were better despite paying a major part in our success.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I was late teens when that was on but still found it scarey. I haven't seen it since it was first screened but can remember the opening credits with people collapsing at airports etc. I'll have to look it up. Has it aged well?

So yes then. Just look and see. You know the sort of moany comments about Robins and some of the players that are there.

Just have a look at any match thread where we are not winning. (Lincoln match thread even though we won). Rochdale wasn't so bad but virtually any match thread before that game. Plenty of moans.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Sunderland Match Thread - Sunday 1st Mar

Didn't Robins make a last ditch offer in the summer to get him to stay? That would suggest he was valued and would certainly have been in the squad and probably in the team. It was good to see a local boy in the team (played in the same school team as one of my sons) and that goal at Wembley...

    Dodgy ref

There's a difference between swearing at a ref, which I think most of us do at some point during a game, and standing up and bellowing at the top of your voice, red faced and apoplectic with rage. Just to say that the idea of a discussion like this one is to put forward your own point of view...

Very happy that you are metrosexual. Not sure what it means however or what it has with has to do with blokes in their forties and fifties, who really should know better, getting to their feet at a football match to abuse another bloke who is only trying to do his job.
