I do have a bit of sympathy with the idea that while results are good it doesn't feel that good as performances have not been brilliant, but I'm hoping that some of that should be alleviated by a return to a more favoured formation once we've got players fit. I also think the players' confidence...
TBF he started well but lost form to the extent that he lost his place in the side after we were beaten at QPR. I think the players had a big meeting afterwards and from then we won a couple to pretty much guarantee safety.
For some reason people have misremembered the Robins era as being all flowing football and winning 4-0 every week, when it is what most Championship games are, tight and winning by the odd goal.
I think a lot of what he does is quite subtle and you tend to remember more the time he's lost a physical battle. I still don't think we get him into shooting positions enough.

Come on man, he's told a woman he works with unsolicited that he wants to fuck her up the arse. If the c**t had said it to my daughter he'd be clubbed to death with a rolling pin.

He won 3 of the first 9 games in charge, roughly the same win rate as his predecessor. There was not a new manager bounce.

We need to get another 26-27 points at least. As much as you might say the initial block of games present the easiest route to them they are not the only route.
I am just recalling going to watch us play and draw 0-0 at Wigan in March 2023, where Hamer missed a great chance in the last minute...
